I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I had such a great experience working with Donald that I had to leave him a 5 star review. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We had a really bad leak coming from our water heater in the middle of the night and it was clear that it needed to be replaced. Our landlord called Donald and I swear he was at our house in less than 20 minutes to take a look. He stopped the leaking for the night and was back first thing in the morning with a new unit which he installed in just a few hours.

Donald is the real deal. Fast, communicative, quality work, trustworthy, down to earth - he even took his shoes off when he came into our house!

As everybody else says, working with Miser was a total pleasure. My go-to company that I've used in the past was apparently sold and the new owners have less-than-stellar Yelp reviews so I looked around here (and on Angie's list) and Miser came up with top marks all around.

I had them replace a hot water heater for me and while here also took care of a slow-draining bathroom sink. The work was done efficiently and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. Nice guy too, on top of it all! Totally recommended.

I had Donald come by to look at replacing a number of old angle stops in a condo I own and install an recessed icemaker box for the refrigerator. All the work was done very well, and although the recessed box became more of a project then anticipated he still finished in the same amount of time and within the quoted price.

Donald was very responsive and did excellent work. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing jobs.

These guys are the real deal. We had some tree roots blocking our mainline so the whole house was stopped up, it was a nightmare.. I hit up yelp looking for a South Bay plumber and called Miser Plumbing who said they could help us out.
Donald showed up quick and gave us the most affordable options.. Really good advise actually. not some BS sales pitch. Then he proceeded to yank the toilet and rip those roots out. We were back up and running in 45 minutes. After that, he intuitively stopped my toilet from constantly wasting water. Bottom line these guys are affordable, honest, clean and helpful. Just straight up amazing service!

I would highly recommend Miser Plumbing West!

I had a major stoppage in the bathroom so I called one of the bigger companies only to find that their quote was outrageous!!! So I called a friend and she told me to call Miser Plumbing West and ask for Donald. Wow! He actually answered the phone, was very courteous and personable. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, had a nice truck with all the equipment that he needed to do the job. He explained the situation and what he needed to do and gave me a quote. He worked very hard to resolve my problem and cleaned up after he was finished. He wrote a detailed invoice as to what the problem was and what he did to take care of it. His price was less than half of the the bigger well known company.
I really like supporting the mom and pop businesses in the South Bay.
So the next time you need a plumber, I would definitely give Donald a call.

Definitely call Miser Plumbing West for a great job at a great price! Donald came to the rescue right away when I needed my garbage disposal de-clogged. Miser plumbing is awesome. Moved into a place with shower that didn't have cold water. Donnie looked at it real quick and fixed the moen fixture super quick. Very easy to work with and he will jump through the hoops that hoa makes you go through. Highly recommended and easy to work with.

If you're like me, I'm very picky about who works on my cars and home. Finding a competent and trusting plumber is similar to finding an automobile mechanic. They need to be honest, fair, competent, and trustworthy. This exactly describes Donald (owner/operator of Miser Plumbing West).

Had a leak under the house and used Home Advisor services. Donald contacted me shortly after I had submitted a request for plumbing services. Right off the bat, Donald made a great first impression. Answered all of my questions, was very professional, and offered to come inspect my problem with NO service charges (most other plumbing companies charge you to inspect the issue). We agreed on a service date/time. He arrived exactly on time and crawled under the house to inspect the leak. He determined that there was a small leak in one my pressurized pipes and provided me with several options to resolve the issue. No sales pressure here...just the facts. I chose my option and he happily took it from there.

Here's my honest feedback. Donald is a very friendly and competent plumber. His level of integrity impressed me throughout the entire process and he is a person of great character. I'm so happy to have found Donald and will be using his services from here on. I highly recommend giving Donald a call if you have plumbing needs.

Oh, by the way, he charges less than all of the other plumbers I've used in the past :)
