Frozen pipes in Christmas Day. Said he could be here in an hour but was here within 45 minutes when other plumbers were not taking appointments until next week. Identified and fixed the issue in 10 minutes and was honest enough to tell me to hold off on the longer term repair until the spring when it's warmer and not paying emergency rates. What could have been days of discomfort and inconvenience were avoided. Thankful.

Mirek's Plumbing does not return phone calls. We also made online request page for price quote, We did not receive a reply. We vere ignored. Very frustrating.

Update: takes an aircraft mechanic to do a plumber's job at what point was this riser flange ever acceptable??? The Riser flange should have been replaced any plumber would know that. Instead they just put a wax ring in and tighten down a still leaking toilet.

All these incredible reviews really have me questioning the poor service so far... turned out Mireks did a repair on our master bedroom leaky and loose toilet. As a part of contractual agreement before we closed on the house it had to be fixed, moved in to our new home find out few weeks something leaking we see a small spot on ceiling in main floor. Then nothing another week goes by and another spot grew next to it and was way bigger. Not knowing it was the toilet called home warranty and another plumbing company comes out to cut a huge hole in ceiling and find the TOILET still leaking.... called Mireks because they Guarantee their work for 1 year????? According to their receipt for work accomplished. Was told they would talk to tech who did the job and 3 days later no answer and they wont answer the phone, 2 more days till Monday so we wont have a working toilet now for 5 days. Plus still huge hole in the ceiling and mold where the leak that never was fixed is. Unbelievable how anyone can operate a business like this. Truly I dont understand especially after reading all these reviews! 1 star from me and if they dont call and discuss this matter I am taking it up with the BBB you can believe that!

Mirek's Plumbing is the best in the DC/MD/VA area!!! We were referred to Mirek from a friend and have used him for over 10 years now. We have well water and in the past have had so many issues because of pinhole leaks with our copper pipes. Mirek installed a water filtration system and the problem has been solved! We are in the process of replacing our water heaters now and wouldn't trust anyone else to do the work. Mirek is quick to respond to emergencies, arrives on time if not early for his appointments, and is extremely professional. We love that he doesn't give a 4 hour window like other companies where you have to take off a day from work! I wish I could give Mirek more than 5 stars!!! His company deserves it!

Erik came over to resolve a mix valve issue with our shower. Had the necessary parts on hand to take of the problem. He explained to me the problem with the system and other signs to observe in the future when this part will fail. Had him install a drain valve on our irrigation system while he was over. Given my past experience with the big advertising plumbing companies in the area, I felt the price for the parts and labor to be fair and reasonable. I would recommend this company for future plumbing needs.
