We have a whole house filter that was incorrectly installed. Essentially it was plumbed so the backyard sprinklers/irrigation were using the filtered water. Sammy came out and discussed various solutions to fix the problem. The day of we discovered a better way to reconfigure the piping and Sammy handled the changes like a champ. He got under the crawl space and installed new piping and now our water tastes much better and our sprinklers work more reliably. He's more than willing to give advice, do little fixes while he's at your house (fixed our random cold shower issue and helped me change the media in our whole house tank). Such a great experience from start to finish, will be using him again in the future.

We needed our master bath sink repaired. Yelp sent our request to Miranda's Plumbing on Friday, 9/20. Monday night, 9/23 at 8, we got a message from Miranda's they had missed the referral and apologized. I called them back the next morning Tuesday, 9/24 around 10 at the number they left in the message and left them a voicemail. As of today, Saturday, 9/28, we haven't heard from Miranda's Plumbing and have hired Armored Plumbing to do the repairs to both bathroom sinks on Monday 9/30.

Sammy was great. He went out of his way to come to my house and he offered my repairs at a fair price. He did them quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated his good service.

As with similar review sites where consumers seek reliable information on various businesses, Yelp has failed consumers miserably. I will never again seek information on Yelp because of what I found today...

I needed a plumber. Yelp sent my needs to various idiots and scammers (Really. Read on...) who replied shortly after 3:30am with a phone number that does not exist. In fact, ""Miranda's Plumbing"" does NOT exist. If one taps the link to the ""Miranda's Plumbing"" website offered on Yelp, one finds it is not a plumbing business at all...instead, it claims to be a brokerage firm called ""Miranda Group"". A VERY DIFFERENT INDUSTRY ALTOGETHER. If one pursues further and goes to the Secretary of State website in the state where the ""Miranda Group"" claims to be located, one finds the ""Miranda Group"" does NOT exist there either...yet several formal complaints have been filed by victimized consumers.

Yelp offers ""Miranda's Plumbing"" their stamp of approval while failing to adequately vet, or even minimally vet, businesses like ""Miranda's Plumbing""...aka ""Miranda Group"". Sadly, consumers lose to scammers, while Yelp profits.

Incidentally, many more exploitative scamming ""businesses"" are also tolerated by Yelp...and, after all, why not? Yelp cares solely about profit, NOT about consumers.

Personally, I learned a great deal today about Yelp businesses practices and disappointment followed.

Clear clogged drain in bathtub
I had 3 other plumbers come out and they could not clear it. Told me it would be at $1200 to hydro flush the line. Sammy came out and snaked it in less than 5 mins.
I will definitely be using him in the future.

Sammy from Miranda's plumbing came out after my sink and washing machine had flooded my house. We got a quote for a drain cleaning hoping maybe that was the issue, but shortly after he arrived he realized the issue was much worse and he was able to provide me a new quote and fix the pipe in the same day. He was knowledgeable, cool, and a very genuine guy. He spent a total of 5 hours here from the time he started, ran to get some supplies, came back and fixed a good chunk of the pipping underneath my house. He also triple check everything prior to leaving to make sure there were no other issues going on. I purchased my house 2 years ago and this is the best my kitchen sink has ever drained! I highly recommend Sammy and will be giving them a call for any needs in the future.

Sammy and his son added two water spigots to my yard and fixed an existing spigot. They were very knowledgeable, professional and did a grade job! I will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing needs!

After trying to get my moms kitchen faucet fixed by a big name plumbing company, ( they charged my to come out and said they dont replace faucets), i went to reds plumbing it sacramento to see if they could help me ( after standing around home depot with no one helping me). they sold me the correct faucet and recommended Miranda Plumbing to do the installation. Im sure glad they did! Sammy the owner was so nice and helpful, it was a bit of a tricky installation but he knew exactly what he was doing with no problems. Also he came out the next day to my moms after i called him the afternoon before. Old school know how and no run around, i'd give Miranda Plumbing more stars if i could.

Sammie responded within immediately. He changed out a sink within minutes. He tested and it was good. Later that night, it leaked. He came out immediately? and sealed up the joints. It leaked again. He ran?back out and said it had to be a DEFECT in the P-Trap. Sure enough that was the issue. His tenacity and willingness to do a perfect job is that old school customer service we don't see anymore. THANK YOU SAMMIE & Miranda's Plumbing!!
