-00000 stars!!!!! Dont ever hire them to do ur water heater..unfortunately for me, home warranty assigned them to me.. but after going back and forth with their boss man which isnt professional at all... he said they only provide the service. I told them home warranty is paying for it, they just need to submit their diagnosis and pick it up. On and by the way, theyre going to charge me extra $1080 for labor and install.. no thank you habibi.. so if u get assigned to MIRAK plumbing..run away

I would give him a Zero star rating if I could. Was assigned my claim from Choice Home Warranty (a recurring theme.) He showed up, took pictures, didn't touch anything, and left. Then, after receiving communication from Choice that the repair was authorized, did not hear from him. Left messages - no response. Choice claimed he was sending further information regarding claim - not sure what because the electronics indicated a fault in the burner unit. After not having hot water for three days, called Plumbing Plus (great company!) and they came same day, cleaned the electronic components, and the system restarted just fine. A simple fixt that Mirak didn't even spend any time looking at doing - as I said, he didn't even touch the system.
Other complaints on Yelp confirm that this is S.O.P. for this contractor: Get the claim from Choice, show up, don't do anything, and then ghost the customer. But, by golly, be sure to collect the fee up front without doing any work!

On 4/18/2024 @ 11pm, my water heater burst causing my garage to flood. I immediately shut off the water at the valve and cleaned up the water. I placed a claim with Choice Home Warranty (CHW) on 4/19/2024 to have the water heater fixed. I received a message from CHW stating my claim has been placed with Mirak Plumbing. I scheduled an appointment for 4/20/2024 between 11am and 3pm.
A person named Nadji Loughraieb showed up at 5:03pm, over two hours late. I called him 3 times for an ETA and every time he told me he will call me when he's on his way. He clearly had no sense of urgency for my situation. When he finally arrived, he started complaining about being short staff and not getting paid enough by CHW. Red flags immediately went up! I showed him my water heater, and he immediately started with his doom and gloom speech. He stated I needed a new platform because the water has damaged it, even though I cleaned up the water and just the drywall needed drying out. He instructed me to call my home insurance because CHW doesn't pay for secondary damage. I told him that it was funny how you already knew that.
I asked him how much the platform will cost? He told me it would cost $3500 and he will give me an invoice to submit to my home insurance for them to pay. Remember, this is all a visual inspection. He didn't physically touch anything, so how would he know how bad anything is? He also informed me that the drywall will mildew and I will have to replace everything around the water heater. I asked him how much is all this going to cost and he informed me that it would cost close to $5000. He told me he will submit the paperwork to CHW, and let me know the final cost on Monday.
After he left, I immediately called another plumber for a second opinion because I was not comfortable with this guy. The second plumber was extremely punctual and very informative. He felt the drywall for water damage and checked the water heater for leaks. Remember, Mr. Nadji didn't touch anything! He informed me that everything Mr. Nadji told me was incorrect. The water will dry and the platform was structurally sound. I hired him on the spot because I was comfortable with him for one, and we couldn't wait another 2 to 3 days for hot water. I immediately contacted CHW on April 21, 2024 to cancel my claim and close out this claim.
In short, Mr. Nadji is a con artist. He knows how to exploit the rules, and take advantage of unsuspecting customers! Be careful with this company and this guy.

I put one star just because I couldn't put zero stars, or negative stars. This guy is a con-artist in cahoots with home warranty. Cancel this company and your home warranty company as well (Choice or American, they are both fraudulent) .

I was assigned to Mirak Plumbing from the home warranty company. When I called to schedule the appointment, the man immediately started yelling at me and said I would have to wait an additional 3 days. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and I do not suggest using this company. There is little doubt why they have all 1-star reviews.

We tried to get a quote from Mirak and he was really rude and arrogant. Trust the yelp review as there's plenty better out there. Luckily we did not go with him in the end.

Company sent out by warranty company to do the warranty companies dirty work in order to not cover claims. Submits one set of paperwork to customer and another to warranty company. Shady work completed. Do not work with this company

This company was sent by my home warranty to fix a clogged toilet. Their short, basic snake could not reach it, so rather than going through the cleanout, the plumber claimed they needed further authorization. He then worded the authorization to indicate that they needed to remove the entire toilet to access the clog. Coincidentally, this is exactly what is excluded from by the home warranty. Strange to imagine that a plumber who does regular home warranty work does not know that such a fix is excluded?
I had a non-home warranty plumber come later and he just knocked the issue out using the clean-out, which would have remained in coverage.
Overall, it all suggests to me that the plumber might be intentionally wording authorizations intentionally to avoid staying in coverage or, at worst, is in collusion with the home warranty to intentionally phrase issues in a way that will take you out of coverage.

Mirak Plumbing was sent to us from Choice Home Warranty to fix a few leaky faucets. He spent 3 minutes in the house and said yes, they are leaking. I paid him the $85 service fee. He said once approved he will call and schedule the repair. I received an email from choice saying repair was approved. 4 days go by no call. I call him. He told me Choice won't cover the parts I had to go to the manufacturer and get the cartridges and that he refused the repair because of what Choice was going to pay him for the work. I then disputed Choice and they cancelled my policy. Refunding me half of my policy amount for 63 days of use. Needless to say I'll be taking legal action against both of them and give a rating of zero for both Choice Home Warranty and a zero for Mirak Plumbing. Stay away from both at all costs.

My home warranty company hired them. The technician collected the service fee and left without notifying anyone, without telling his diagnosis to me or the home warranty company. None answers any phone calls from me or the warranty company.
Home warranty STILL waits for their diagnosis report, WHICH WAS NOT SUBMITTED AS PROMISED.
so disappointed!!!!!
