I needed a plumber to remove and replace clogged bathtub cartridges. I've had this done before in the same bathtub and it cost about $700. We turned off the water to the building and the guys took the old cartridges to the store and got new ones and proceeded to tell me the price would be $1,800. And they no longer accept credit cards so they just expected me to have this in my bank account. I talked them down quite a bit but still feel like I was ripped off and scammed.

They showed up late and quoted me a horrendous amount of money. When I asked if the price was negotiable, they said that it was not financially feasible for them to come down in price and that it was a fair quote. When I declined their services, they trimmed the quote in half. I still refused. They proceeded with a service charge and added an additional surcharge for having come out after 6pm. I reminded them that they were over an hour late and were extending me the surcharge for being late. They did demand a check for which I never got a receipt. I really didn't feel comfortable at all. I did the job myself for 1/8 the price (parts). Would not recommend.

Two plumbers arrived to help me check for the source of flooding in my basement. They verified that everything was working and it must have just been rainwater. I thanked them. They left. They returned saying the boss demands $375 and if I paid by check I had to write it out to an individual's name. I wonder how much of this is for the workers, who had to wade through a few deep flooded basements on that busy day, and how much for the guy dispatching workers. Stay away and be skeptical of the glowing reviews. My experience matches those of the only other one star review.

We had a very not fun plumbing emergency. They came to our
rescue the same day as we called. Lee showed up with a couple other guys.
They took care of our problem. They were fast, efficient and professional.
I would use them again.

Quote you a price over the phone. Then change it when they get there. Wanted check made out to self, not to company "" bonded, insured ""name.
Did not write me a receipt. Said he would but ""still"" waiting. Called to re-remind of not getting receipt.

These guys were fantastic. Up front about the price and when they needed a longer cable, explained why it would cost more. They were extremely careful of my home, cleaned up after themselves and left my place in great condition, highly recommend.

Rafi was extremely helpful and responsive when we had an emergency hot water heater repair needed in our condo building. He quickly replied, put together an estimate and quote, and was clear on timing and his progress throughout. Ultimately our board selected a different company for the work, but I wanted to say that our experience was extremely positive!

Lee from Miracle Plumbing was very responsive in setting up an appointment and coming out right away to assess my issue with a leaky hot water inlet pipe. I respected his knowledge, he had great communication with me, and gave a quoted price for repair that was not unreasonable. Ultimately I did not require the service from Miracle Plumbing, as the issue was addressed with another vendor during new dishwasher appliance install, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Lee in the future.
