My experience at Milne Plumbing Supply was very positive. I came here with my plumber on two (2) recent occasions in need of new parts for my bathroom faucet and shower.

Sergio, a young knowledgeable and professional young man helped us solve our problem with such expertise, dedication and superb customer service skills dealing with the public. You will not find that kind trade knowledge along with an endless variety of hard to find parts at your typical big box home improvement store. Sergio's polite manner and neat appearance represents his company well.

Before this, my plumber had purchased a new garbage disposal at Milne's too. I'm coming back soon for another sump pump as a back up unit that I never had for my Munster home.

While you can't please everyone and some people are more likely to complain rather than thanking a company for great service. Milne Plumbing deserves five (5) stars! They also carry top of the line sinks, bathtubs and faucets for your home.

Milne is a great place in Munster. Indiana to do business!

This place is simply awesome!!! They have almost everything you need for a plumbing job and knowledge to go with it too!! They have high end products and the guy behind the front desk ( Tony ) is such a nice man.

My co-workers advised me against shopping here but I mistakenly did anyway. Long story short - received a scratched part but unfortunately it wasn't noticed until after a plumber had installed it. We were hoping for a price adjustment but were told that, because we didn't notice the problem until it had been installed, there was nothing that could be done.

I'm submitting this review to comment on their customer service, as they only serve as a retailer and I am not blaming them for the damage to the part. But I was frustrated by their unwillingness to acknowledge a problem, their insistence that they weren't responsible, their delays in communication, and above all their tiring preference for going back and forth in what seemed an attempt to just ""wear me down,"" rather than addressing the problem. In the end, they said that Mr. Milne himself personally authorized a twenty dollar credit, which was a pretty trivial amount compared to the full cost. Their lack of concern was especially apparent when their employee accidentally sent an email to me, intended for their supplier, complaining about ""customers these days."" I let them know that the email mistakenly was sent to me and did receive an apology - though not for having complained as they did, but instead for having sent the email to the wrong person.

Poor customer service. Stood there for about 10 minutes after someone said they would be right with me, instead the person was discussing the housing crush in 2008. I was ready to spend a few thousand dollars for my kitchen sink and faucet. I have left without being helped. Will take my business somewhere else!

Gave me the wrong part twice and then was incredibly rude and gave me a hassle about returning them claiming they couldn't resell them. The materials weren't damaged in any way, but if they don't fit, I should be entitled to a refund. I would rather drive an hour out of my way than give this company business again.

I was really excited by having a local plumbing store nearby, especially with our upcoming entire home remodel. I even purchased our steam unit and faucets from them, despite the higher price as I will always support a local business over a big box when possible. They neglected to call me twice when the unit was in which involved me calling them several times to follow up. Every time I've ever called Milne, whoever answers their phones clearly hates her job and ALWAYS makes you feel as if you're an inconvenience and a bother by calling. Though I wouldn't have had to call them had they called me.

Despite that, I still went there yesterday, again because they're small business and local but yesterday was the last time I'll ever support them. I went in with an antique faucet that yes, I purchased off Craigslist, that was missing a few pieces. The associate, Bradley, tried looking up what piece I would need online and showed me in a Delta product essentially what I would need. I asked him to just grab me the drain pop I needed instead and he was less than polite and smugly and begrudgingly had to slip in before he went to get the drain, ""Next time, don't buy a faucet off the internet"" and walked away. Very rude. I left immediately after his rude comment and will never go in there again. Every person I have encountered there seems to dislike their job and have poor attitudes.

Happy to take my business to Leeps or other local shops over Milne.

I was in town visiting my elderly parents. They needed some plumbing and the guys at Milne were terrific. They helped me get all the parts I needed and the faucet is now leak free. They took the time to get me the right replacement parts and were super courteous.
