My experience with Miller plumbing was much like that of the other reviewers. The guy who showed up was in some wet shoes and dirty clothes. We had several small jobs, leaks and such, and the solutions that he proposed were to replace everything. He gave us an estimate that was almost 10x what it ended up costing to get it fixed quite nicely by a reputable plumber. We too paid $40 for a really bad estimate. Stay away from these guys, sounds like their crooks!

Eric was punctual, honest, direct, and up-front with the repairs our air conditioning unit needed. He was able to replace the capacitor and later the connector. Also, he cleaned the unit and checked its freon level. He did an excellent job and I would recommend him for your unit's service or replacement.

Absolutely horrible company!! Call someone else. You will be overcharged and not happy with their work. Customer service is awful!!! Worst experience I have ever had!!

First off I'd like to say that Miller Plumbing Pittsburgh was very responsive to my needs and performed good clean work. However upon request for an itemized bill of material costs because I wanted to see if I could write any of the costs of my taxes they flat out refused and played dumb and couldn't tell me the actual cost and said no other company gives an itemized bill. Has anyone ever have an oil change? So I had to go out and hunt down an estimate on material and labor costs myself. Here is the break down. Water Heater same model $397.00. Couldn't find the same model expansion tank but a similar type from home depot is $50.00 I figure 187.00 is fair enough for additional materials. $450 an hour labor x 2 hours of work $900 for a grand total of $1,524. Of course I rounded up. Now I feel as though I have been stripped and raked over hot coals. These guys turned out to be real crooks and should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people like that. Yes I could have turned them down but it being a few days before Christmas I didn't want to chance it. Oh and then there is the $39.00 trip charge that they couldn't even take off the bill for actually doing the work. Good life lesson on why you should always get a second opinion. Oh did I mention that after shutting the gas off for installation of the water heater they never re-lit the pilot for my furnace bringing the temperature down to 60 degrees......stay away from them.

Made an appointment to have a plumber come to my house and took the day off of work. No show and no call. Made several phone calls to the business line throughout the day and a recording stated that someone would call me back in 5-15 minutes No return phone call. If this is how they treat potential customers, then I would rather not be one.

This company is absolutely horrible! They are complete crooks!!!!!!

They did not tell me about the $39 fee just to come out. So they showed up asking for $39 on the spot. They put a ball valve on the outside of my house. Which he made it seem would take an hour or two, 10 minutes later he was done and charge me $195! Then the company said because it was same day service and it was by a highly trained technician.
Total bullshit!!!

Never ever ever use this company!!!!!

This is a wonderful company! Plumbing issues are never fun or inexpensive. We have used Miller Plumbing and Heating more than several times in the past 8 years. We keep returning to them. They have proven themselves to be experts in their field, empathetic to our troubles, expedient, earnest to do quality work, more than fair in their pricing, and honest. Recently, for example, they could have charged $500 for a fix they discovered we actually did not need. Rather than do the job and charge us the money (we would have never known the difference) they were more than happy to let us know that we did not need the repair after all and were happy to save us the $500.. Pretty cool. Plumbing issues happen! You can't go wrong with this company!

NEVER AGAIN! So upset I didn't read these reviews before calling Miller plumbing. We were in a rush to get work done, called the nearest plumber. After the full work wasn't completed, and being called a liar multiple times by the owner, he said he would give me a discount to perform the work AGAIN when they didn't complete it the first time. Needless to say we passed and truly recommend going with another plumber. The tech assigned to us was young and impersonable, and barely talked to me except for when I was paying. The owner is extremely rude and argued back and forth with me for 2 days.
