Outstanding service and wonderful people I would not use anyone else. They locally owned and operated

I'm surprised this place is still in business with the way Miller & Humphrey are running things. MONEY HUNGRY. You'd think with all the chaos that is going on nowadays, you'd be able to rely and trust the family business you hire. Which is why my family decided to go with them instead of a bigger company. Lesson learned. Not only did they not fix the initial issue (clogged toilet) THEY MADE IT WORSE, now I have a hole in my ceiling!! And a cracked toilet.. And to charge me extra? No thank you. They took my toilet apart just to leave it that way, with no say of when or how they were going to fix it. Now i made sure I made the workers feel as comfortable as can be when they entered my home. Even gave them homemade, heartfelt snacks. They yelled at me when they decided to leave the work undone. I called the owners and they yelled at me too. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you guys do too. I had to hire a completely different company just to fix what they had messed up. WHAT A SHAME!

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Miller/Humphrey. Specifically with Jeff Humphrey, who I believe is the son in law of the original owner Mr. Miller. My parents know Mr. Miller and asked me to contact Miller/Humphrey because a tenant of theirs had a clogged drain. Both I and my parents were out of state at the time. The apartment had its own septic tank, but Mr Humphrey apparently could not clear the approximately five to eight feet of pipe (which was under concrete) to that septic tank. Mr. Humphrey decided to install a new drain to the septic tank of the main house which required about forty to fifty feet of trenching through the back yard. When I arrived at the job a couple days later and met with Mr. Humphrey the new drain pipe was exposed, a planter area had washed out and the dirt from trenching was still all over the yard. They also dug a hole in the front yard and when asked why, Mr. Humphrey didn't know. I asked Mr. Humphrey if he was going to complete the job and he became very argumentative and keep repeating it would cost more money. He had a bill prepared for over $1,300 dollars and insisted that he wasn't a landscaper. He said he would have to have dirt brought in and charge more to finish the job. I'm familiar with trenching and attempted to explain that restoring grounds when you dig it up is part of the job and if done properly doesn't require additional time or dirt since the pipe takes the place of some of the dirt. I called the office and asked to speak with the owner who I assumed was Mr. Miller. Mr. Jeff Humphrey got on the phone and when I expressed my disagreement about the shape he left the yard in he promptly hung up on me. I feel Mr. Humphrey very unreasonable and unprofessional. And I'm left to finish the trenching job and restoration. Perhaps if all you need is inside plumbing work maybe you'll be happy, but if you need drain work and especially anything that involves digging and restoration I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

AHS had set up a warranty claim thru M&H on Sunday night about a leaking fitting on a water heater. Monday morning the tenant tells me there's also no hot water. So before I went to work on Monday I called M&H to relay the tenants new hot water concern. All in all, the old 2005 model water heater was replaced with a new Rheem unit with upgraded pek fittings. Their quality of work and timely response was very much appreciated and I don't have a smelly tenant, thx guys.

These guys do not even deserve 1 star. I hope they do not rip everyone off like they did me. I hired these guys to install a oven for me which took about 30-45 min. When the bill came they charged me for electrical connectors that came with the oven, $3.50 for 6 inches of electrical tape and 2 hours of labor. When I called to discuss the bill they were very rude. They also told me that they charge $70 an hour, starting when they leave their office. So if you hire these guys they will charge you for their travel time to get to your house. So I live in daleville which is 10-15 min from enterprise they did 30-45 min of work so by my math they should have charged me for 1hour 15 min at the most. This shady business charged me for 2 hours of labor. Avoid

I would never use Miller & Humphrey Plumbing & Electric Inc. for anything. We were in the midst of selling our home and our buyer had a home inspection where some minor electrical issues were identified on our pool equipment. I called Miller & Humphrey and even sent them documentation and pictures of what we wanted done...twice! They did not come out on the day they said they would and when they finally did go to look at it, the owner of the company tried to rip us off and tell us we needed the pool equipment to be entirely rewired. A job that would cost us at least $800 """"minimum"""" were his words. We told him, one of your technicians who reviewed the report when we first called said these repairs would be minor and wouldn't be more than around $300-$400. He then proceeded to call us liars. He hung up on us as well. Mind you this wasn't some employee but the owner of the company himself. We ended up calling Goolsby Bros Plumbing & Electrical to come out and do the work. They came out and guess what? We didn't need the pool system entirely rewired! They did the minor repairs we asked for for under $220. I would not recommend using Miller & Humphrey for your plumbing or electrical needs. I honestly can't understand how a business remains open conducting business this way.

left nasty sewage water for me to clean up, left parts a pieces everywhere. they We're nice, however they're extremely messy. Would not recommend.

I called Miller & Humphrey on a weekend. We decided that if they came Monday morning to fix an outside water leak it would be okay, rather than pay the overtime. At 8:30 Monday morning they were there and had it fixed within the hour. It was a great experience and they were so efficient. I'd even had someone else look at it before I called them and they couldn't fix it. As far as I am concerned, this company is great. I would not hesitate to call them again and would certainly recommend them.

Used this company to replace sewer line to road. Actually did the line pretty fast but left the yard in a terrible shape. Left high and low spots everywhere said it would """"settle"""". They destroyed the sewer cover removing it and get mad when we ask to have it replaced since we have a hole in the driveway that debris can fall in. It stays that way for months as they say it's the cities problem and the city says it's theirs. They finally """"rig"""" a cover for the sewer. After some months I'm checking the mail and notice the yard is washing out under the driveway. I go tell them about it and they say not their problem they're done (after crying some more to me about having to rig the sewer cover) and won't do anything about it. Definitely not a company I would recommend.

Do not use this company. They ripped me off and lied about how the bill was to be handled.Any company that lies to customers should not be trusted for anything.I don't know what else to say.
