I called Mike about water saturating my yard around the water meter. I told him I couldn't take off work to meet him. He said he would go out to my house and take a look anyway. They went out right away and told me it looked like the water main was leaking as I suspected. He quoted a price and I gave him the go ahead. Shortly after, he called again after shutting off the water and digging a little. He said it was more than likely either the water meter or the city side leaking. I had the city come out and they fixed the water meter. Mike was very honest and helpful. I really appreciate his help as well as not charging me a dime. Will use him in the future.

Mike was very knowledgeable and was able to figure out what my problem was over the phone and gave me an estimate. He came out promptly, confirmed the issue and explained the solution. Above all else, he was honest. We agreed on the solution and he began his work. He was fast and thorough. The price was right at what he quoted me over the phone. I called Mike and he said "no problem!" He even went over and measured everything and specified exactly what she needed so she would pick out the right stuff (no extra charge).

Even got the install the same day--all for less than what the big box seller quoted for an install.

I called and spoke with Mike about a potential leak in the front yard of the house where the ground was soaked and pooling. He said it was likely a common issue involving the line running from the meter to the house and that the cost for such repairs started at $350 and went up from there, depending on how much digging and time was involved. He called back about 2 hours later to tell me that he had dug up the ground near the wet area and found a leaking coupler, which he fixed with a flexible line called "PEX". He said he was going to leave the hole open and go back the next day to see if the water had receded. If so, he would assume the leak was fixed and he would fill in the hole. If not, he would have to look for other leaks. Mike called early the next morning and said the water had receded and he had filled the hole with dirt. The total charge was $380. I think that is a very reasonable price considering he had to dig up muddy ground. For those who have done that, you know how physically difficult and mentally frustrating it can be! To say the least, I am very impressed. Mike told me what he was going to do and he did exactly that, and then got back in touch promptly to give me the details. There were no surprises, the leak was fixed, and it was done at a fair price. It's pretty hard to find that kind of service, so my hat is off to Mike! i will not hesitate to hire him again, and I will gladly recommend him to anyone.

I am the most impatient person ever, but a really nice impatient person. I used Mike's plumbing in League city for a gas reconnect. I am trying to purchase a home and get it inspected. Anyway, I called around for pricing and he was the nicest guy with a rate that was middle of the road with an hour of labor for free if they found a leak, which they did! And fixed within that hour! He was always nice to me, and me being a female and not knowing too much could probably irritate your ordinary arrogant man. This is the first time I have ever wrote a review, but he deserves it! I am so happy I chose Mike's Pluming. He was super fast as well which when you are buying a house it's stressful just having to wait a few hours to see how much more money you will be out of!!!! Thank you so much Mike.... I will be a lifelong customer!
