Our water heater stopped working on Friday right before New years of course, murphy's law.. I called Mike's plumbing at 7 pm expecting an answering machine, but at my surprise and delight Mike answered the phone. He said he would be there between 9-11 the next morning to look at it. He came out, was on time and determined it was going to not be an easy repair due to being 12 years old and out of warranty. We decided to go with a new one and he put it in the same day. He put it in a new pan and replaced some of the pipes. We had hot water again Saturday at noon. We are forever grateful for his prompt and efficient service, he will have us as customers for life. I had a leaking bathtub spout and I had gone to a larger plumbing company and the guy they sent supposedly fixed it for around $300, but the next day it still leaked. He said that it was because the cartridge in the wall had a piece further back inside that he couldn't get to, so he recommended taking out the shower tile around it to get it at and wanted to charge me over $3000(!) which was crazy.
So I did some local searches and found Mike's Plumbing who was local and well-reviewed. He came by and fixed it properly without having to rip anything out, just replaced the complete cartridge unit correctly. In other words, the first guy didn't know what he was doing!
In addition I had Mike soldered on a new spout unit which again is the right/best way to do it.
He also looked at bathroom remodel we were considering and gave us a good recommendation for a good remodel guy that was local.
I highly recommend Mike for any plumbing needs you might have, he is experienced, knowledgeable and professional. He is the real deal.

Mike was very helpful and a stand-up guy. He got me pointed in the right direction and didn't mind spending unpaid time helping me over the phone with some pointers on who to call and what to look out for regarding my particular issue.

This was in stark contrast to the top rated plumber in the area that I had called previously. I won't review or name him, as I really don't need to go there. But he apologized and claimed he ""doesn't have a filter"", which of course is code for ""I'm a total dick""
