These guys are the real deal. We recently bought a new home in the mountains and it had an old water heater. I called and got a competitive quote over the phone and agreed for them to come over and take a look. We dealt with Sean initially who's very professional and offered us options, based on what he saw (old heater, pipes etc). We agreed on a price and booked them in. A few days before the scheduled appointment we had an issue and our heating failed. Sean came straight over and fixed the problem within an hour. At this point we felt we had made a good move. Having such a quick turn around in an emergency was a great feeling and sure enough that quality continued. Johnny came over a few days later and installed our new heater along with some pipe repairs due to calcium build-up. Johnny's work is clean and precise. The work was completed ahead of my expected time and we're very happy with the quality of the workmanship. I can Highly recommend Mike's Plumbing and the next plumbing project we have we'll be asking for these guys again. Thanks so much Sean, Johnny and Mike!

Such a pleasure to work such a professional. Have had nothing but problems at our Huntington Beach house with anyone we hire. Mikes plumbing installed a water softener at our big bear house and cleaned our tankless. Then had and issue with tankless not heating water. Sean was here ASAP. Did something to see if solved the problem didn't charge me till was sure it would work. I called back to say that it's still getting cold again here ASAP fixed the problem. It's hot and he again waited to make sure it worked couple days later. Sean was very friendly professional and did a great job. As did mikes guy who installed water softener few months ago. So refreshing to work with a honest person. I will be using mikes plumbing and referring in future for vk home in big bear. Thank you.

Working for a vacation rental agency in Big Bear and needing reliable services to help operate the business in times of need, these guys are our go to Plumbing and Heating experts. They're always extremely responsive and quick to tend to any issues you may need help with. Mike, Shawn & Sean have been helping me resolve a gas leak over the last few weeks, and have been extremely informational in the process. I highly recommend these guys to anyone needing their kind of services, you won't want to go with anyone else after dealing with them. Huge shout out and a huge thank you to you all. Knowledgeable and did the job right. No showed/no call to the first appointment but did call the next day. Rescheduled and got a plumber out promptly the next day. He originally quoted me a certain rate for labor but then kept changing the numbers the next day to charge me a higher hourly rate (I provided all the parts). I brought this up and gave him an opportunity to adhere to the rate he quoted me, but he did not. At the very least I would have expected him to offer to waive the $25 trip fee for the inconvenience of the no-show, where I had waited for him for an hour.

My husband called on a Sunday evening when we had some issues with drains. They called back promptly and we were told that there were three jobs ahead of us and that they would be out the following day after lunch. Monday afternoon we were called and told they were running late but they were coming. No problem. Early evening we got another phone call that they were having problems with the truck that had the equipment they needed and that they would be out to fix the drains in the morning as soon as possible. Tuesday morning at 10:00, we haven't heard anything. My husband calls and leaves a message. No call back. He calls again at 12:00 and leaves a message. He calls the office number and speaks to someone, who tells us that she will have one of the guys call us with an eta. No call back. At 4:00 we again call the office and are told that they can't come today and we should call someone else. So we sat around for two days with no drains waiting for someone to show up as promised and then were told a bunch of excuses as to why we should just call someone else. They did say that if we couldn't find anyone else to call back and they will try to get us on the schedule. Ummm...we were on the schedule! I wont be calling them again.

Finding anyone to do a job in Big Bear Lake can be challenging, from getting someone to answer their phone to actually showing up in a timely matter. With a kitchen sink backed up I searched for a plumber and found Mike's Plumbing and a prompt return call. He's a busy guy but managed to get to my home quickly and got right to work. Unfortunately (for both of us) the clogged sink turned into a huge Mainline job and while Mike had other jobs scheduled for that day he still managed to work me in and finish the job. In the future Mike will be my choice for any plumbing event, he will answer/return your call, he's kind, down to earth, very thorough and will do the job at a very reasonable price. Just a suggestion for those of you who haven't had any plumbing work done in a long time be prepared for the worst (anything less will be a bonus) and feel assured Mike's plumping will be fair and honest. If you do choose Mike he does take many forms of payment but try to avoid using a credit card if you can, the service he uses adds an additional fee (not just a set price but a percentage rate of the total amount due) to your bill. Thank you Mike for your professionalism we need more like you in Big Bear !
