Mike and Jay really helped me out with our new vacation home in Big Bear Lake. They took care of a damaged sewer line for me before the Holiday when we were having our families first Thanksgiving. As a C-39 contractor myself, honesty and integrity are valuable traits in running a company. I know that construction is not an exact science. Even though the line was a bit off from where their equipment detected. They did not charge me an additional rate for performing additional excavation. I even offered to pay them a change order, because I know how difficult predicting everything on a construction project can be. They chose not to. This goes a long way when I make a decision who I am using for future projects. Mike and Jay are definitely the plumbers I will be using on all my projects and they made our families Thanksgiving unforgettable. Thank you guys!

My mother-in-law is selling her cabin in Sugarloaf and she had an issue with the stop waste valve. Since I, too, have a cabin in Sugarloaf I assisted with finding a plumber to take care of the issue. I contacted Mike from Mike's Plumbing. Mike and his team quickly resolved the issue within a few days. The price he quoted and charged to repair the stop waste valve was very resonable. His customer service was outstanding. He explained the work that was needed to repair the valve and did a great job keeping me updated as to the progress of the work being done. Truly a professional plumbing service.

Mike and his team came to my house to repair the water main valve. They showed up when they committed to and did the work promptly. As many large projects go, they ran into a number of unknown issues and were persistent in getting all of them resolved. Many companies might have dragged their feet when some of the unexpected problems arose but Mike and team were timely and stayed on task until we were back to 100% operational. I used this company recently for a burst pipe.  The owner said his employee Shaun would be there at  9:00am if he wasn't late as usual (I am paraphrasing) and laughed.  At 9:07am my husband looked at his watch and thought maybe they weren't going to show up and fix the pipe.  He estimated Shaun arrived 15 to 20 minutes later.  I kept track when Shaun arrived because I had been told the day before by another contractor to watch the plumbers carefully, he had heard a lot of horror stories and they are crooks up here, so I clocked the employee coming in at 9:27am.  He was done with all work by 11:06am.  The work seemed fine except Shaun made 3 huge unnecessary holes that we will have to patch (2 holes each on 2 different walls), even though both my husband and I had originally told him that we thought the leak was where it turned out to actually be and my husband tried to stop him from making the third unneccessay hole, to no avail. Both Shaun and I noted the time on the clock on my wall as 11:13am while arguing about the time he worked and after we had just about finished fighting about him trying to bill me for 3 hours when he didn't even work 2 hours!  Shaun stated he was billing me from 08:55am when he left the shop-37 minutes?  Their shop is in Big Bear City and I am in Big Bear Lake. They never told me previously that the time started before they reached the job.    When I checked maps.com, it said it was a 5 mile, 9 minute drive from their shop to our home.  Even doubling the driving time to an 18 minute drive they still worked less than 2 hours.  But they are also charging me an additional 'truck' fee which is to cover driving time, mileage, fuel, etc. to a job!  The owner Mike said Shaun billed me wrong and should only have billed me 2 1/2 hours!  He tried to get me to pay 1/2 hour over, but I said no as Shaun worked less than 2 hours.  I always understood they billed by the hour, not half hour.  Their stories keep changing.  Mike finally agreed to the actual 2 hours worked plus the $25 truck fee but wrote on the invoice:  ""Total hours reduced due to customer complaint.""   I was very offended by that since no hours were reduced except the hour they attempted to overbill me.  I don't trust them and will no longer use this company.

Mike's plumbing got the job finished quick, and also installed the very next day. I have used this plumber before and he fixed a pipe leak inside my home. This time I called and they were super busy however he installed a new water heater the very next day. Very fair price wise and I am grateful that we had hot water immediately. If you having a plumbing issue I highly recommend Mikes Plumbing. He is busy because the service is great!

Been using Mikes for the last 3 years and every single time we had to use them it has always been a pleasure dealing with them. The best thing about Mikes is that they actually show up which for Big Bear is huge, they do a great job and are always very polite and easy to deal with. Big Bear is a very unique place and most service providers tend to be on the not so reliable side which is why we appreciate Mikes Plumbing and the fact that showing up for a job or a quote is of outmost importance to them.

Kind of flaky they made a date to repair my bathroom plumbing, cancelled and rescheduled for two days later and never showed up. I didn't hear from them until I called them 5 days later and got another excuse. Not very trust worthy in my opinion... Also be careful if you let them in your home and your not there they look through your refrigerator and drink your water. ( they didn't know I was watching )
