Ask them to show you their insurance before you start the job. They improperly installed a pipe, turned a pinhole leak into a deluge overnight. Too bad we were such good customers we paid them right away when the job was finished. If I had delayed one day, maybe we could have deducted damages. Instead, they refused to take responsibility for the hardwood floor damage ($450) which was minimal but it's the principle. A reputable company would provide insurance information so the adjuster could come and verify damage. Who knows, the adjuster could turn down the claim. But to not even provide insurance information is unprofessional not to mention unethical. Some mom and pop operations are quaint. This one is untrustworthy.

Mikes plumbing, you guys are awesome! My bath tub was clogged and would slowly drain, but thanks to the knowledge and expertise of Mike and his son, my drain was fixed in no time. He even did a courtesy check on the rest of my system and advised me what I can do to better my home plumbing. Not to mention the price, after shopping around they where the most economical choice! I will always call Mike's Plumbing for all my home plumbing needs! Definitely recommend these guys to any one!

A Family owned business. I am very glad to have called this company near my area. I spoke to Karen because of an emergency leak and she sent her crew that same day to help. Once the main issue was communicated to Mr. Mike for a second opinion he immediately drove out to see the problem for himself and quoted a very reasonable price for parts and labor for the plumbing repairs. Very happy with the new single handle shower valve, thank you!

Mike was simply wonderful. We have only one bathroom, and have a small child so we needed the problem solved quickly. He arrived promptly late night and on a Sunday. The toilet and shower were backed up. He worked the problem and diplomatically explained what we had done to clog it and made suggestions for the future. His price was fair if not outright low with no extra charge for a late Sunday night. He was also very clean. I'd never hesitate to recommend Mile! Thanks Mike.

AWFUL!!!!!!!!!

So our complex has Mike on a retainer so we felt obligated to use him again, even though we had a few issues in the past.

We asked him to replace our washer/dryer with a new stackable unit. First clue we missed, Mike said we couldn't stack a ""stackable LG washer/dryer."" Once we showed him the manual, he said ""ok, I guess your right."" Let me agree with another review below when he states you have to ""constantly track his availability."" Mike said he was going to be here at 11:30am and he didn't show up until 2 hours later. He knocked on the door and thought he was at our house to ""replace a shower knob. After he finally got here with his sidekick, Mike proceeded to RIP out our old units and absolutely destroy our expensive custom made closet doors and ripped the hinges off the ceiling. When we asked him if he was going to fix it, HE DENIED DOING IT!!! We literally used the closet doors minutes before he came and there was no damage to the doors, hinges. I wish I could put a picture on this review to show you how bad the damage is. After refusing to take accountability for the damage, he then proceeded to just leave the old units on my deck. Then he said he couldn't finish the hookup because we needed an ""extension cord"" to finish the job. We said that didn't sound safe so we called a local electrician who said that would be extremely dangerous. When we finally had enough of his terrible job, we just asked him to leave, though he basically came in, broke everything, ripped out my old units and put a new unit in that doesn't work.

When it came to payment, we didn't want to pay but he said he would come back to fix the issue tomorrow since he was at our complex. So we wrote a check to him. When we wrote it, Mike said, ""what is this?"" We said a check and he had a look on his face as if we HAD to pay him in cash.

At 9:30pm, he called us and stated, ""if your difficult wife is there, I won't do it."" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I couldn't believe it, he was yelling and screaming at me!!!

Overall, this was the worst experience we have ever had with any contractor/plumber/electrician of any type in our lives. Please DO NOT ever use Mike's Plumbing!!! DON'T DO IT!!

I have used Mike's Plumbing three different times and was very happy with the service and pricing each time.

The first time was when the tub faucet leaked hot water when I would turn on the shower. Mike came and took a look at it and he started the work and his son finished the work. It no longer leaks and I don't have to rush my showers for fear of using up all the hot water.

The second time was when my garbage disposal stopped working and the sink drain was clogged. I bought a new garbage disposal which Mike installed. He also replaced all of the old copper pipes with new BVC piping and snaked the line to make sure there wouldn't be any more problems with clogs.

The third time I asked Mike to replace the shutoff values for the kitchen sink and to install a T joint so that I could have a separate shutoff valve for the dishwasher. Mike's son did the work and he did a great job!

I would highly recommend Mike's Plumbing.
