Mike came highly (very highly) recommended by my neighbors in South Austin, and now I know why. His attention to detail, his explanation of the work needed, and his good humor and personality were all great. At the end of the day what matters most is the quality of the work done, and that was exceptional. And the icing on the cake was how well he cleaned up the areas he was working in. I had a clogged drain in the laundry room and a leaking pipe in the rear of our back garden. Not only fixed, but upgraded. I was floored when he sent the email invoice. Couldn't believe how fair his price was. Would recommend to anyone. Like any sole proprietor, you work with an individual to schedule. Anyone who works with master tradesmen know that each job they do is done to their satisfaction, and sometimes that means jobs go over on one site and you have to get rescheduled for a different time. It comes with working with the best. I wouldn't trust a one-star review. Five stars * * * * *

Appointment for noon was pushed back two hours. No problem. Then after waiting those 2 hours the job was changed to an estimate to be completed at a later date, fine. Are you almost here for our 2pm estimate? Nope.

After asking when he would arrive, the job was dropped completely altogether. Complete lack of urgency or professionalism. Waited a week for the job, then wasted an entire day due to incompetence.

Even confirmed yesterday. Which would have been a perfect opportunity to cancel. But nope.

Short story: Great guy and great plumber.

Full story: We had flow restriction and low water pressure at my home, like two faucets open would be zero pressure. I figured it was a bad Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) and Mike came by to replace it. Since the home was built in 1998, the small live oaks when it was built are now big and had wrapped roots all around the thing. Mike went through 4-5 sawzall blades but was finally able to cut it free and replace it. Only problem was, that wasn't the only issue and we still had restricted flow.

Mike trouble shot and worked through all the possibilities, finally concluding that we had dirt or rocks in the line from when a previous plumber had replaced the owner's cutoff. He rigged up his shop vac to clear the lines and now I am back to having plenty of pressure and supply.

I figured he would've split after doing the job he was hired for but he spent several more hours making sure I was back to normal.

He's got a new customer for whatever plumbing jobs come up in our future. His dog Evie is great, too.

Mike responded within a few hours and was able to come out the next day to fix a leak in a pipe that was getting pushed up by some roots. He was fair in his price. He is a third generation plumber and knows what he is doing.

We were needing our water heater to be replaced and since it was under warranty, Mike removed it and took it to Home Depot to be replaced. Then he installed our new one. Very nice guy and was very fair in his pricing. I had received estimates that were quadruple his own. He didn't take advantage of us and even told us he might have to charge us more if one of the other pieces needed to be replaced. When everything was done, he said the piece didn't need to be replaced. He could have easily said it did and we wouldn't have known any better. Fair and honest.

We returned from an extended trip to find our water pressure had become much lower than normal. Called the city and they said their part was fine so Mike came out, had to do some digging and found the valve was simply set too low and corrected it. Water pressure back and no additional cost for a new valve! And his partner in plumbing, Ivi, was a cutie.

Called him up and he came out same day to fix our leak. He was super nice and extremely professional. He did not try to up sell us on any services. Would definitely use him again and hands down recommend him to anyone who need a fast, reliable and quality plumber.
