More than 20 years ago, I began my journey in the family plumbing business. Since then, I have committed myself to plumbing and find great joy in my work. Each day brings new challenges, and I take pride in resolving issues that others struggle with.
In my free time, I look after my nine rescue dogs and value moments spent with my family. I like visiting different churches to experience diverse teachings. I often tune into 91.9 for Christian music, but I also have a fondness for rock from the 80s and 90s. In my spare time, I always tune in to watch The Deadliest Catch.

If, I could give negative stars, I would. I contracted Mike to install a garage sink in my home. Within 6 months, the sink started leaking at the water lines. I called and emailed Mike several times and he never replied. The situation worsened to the point where my garage flooded and I called in another licensed plumber. Basically, the job was done incorrectly from start to finish. He never connected the drainline into my system and messed up my main drain creating a situation where sewer gas and water was accumulating. The high pressure lines were installed with incorrect fittings. He reversed the Hot and Cold lines. I was told that the code violations were so rampant, I would not be able to see my house. The only thing he did right was cash my check. I would not recommend you use Mike for any type of plumbing job.

I had a leak under my house that I tried to repair, but to no avail. I call Mike the Plumber, on a late Saturday afternoon. His wife, Danielle, answered the call, she asked a few questions to try to trouble shoot a solution, I had tried everything. I asked how quick they could be to my home, she said 30 minutes, they were there in 25 minutes. Mike, came in did a quick inspection, gave me an estimate, that was very reasonable and fair. He went right to work, fixed the leaking pipe, turned the water on and another leak appeared. He quickly tackled that leak. While he was here, he showed me some issues that might need attention in the future, since the house is 40+ years old. Mike was very upfront, transparent and ethical in his ways. I would have them back for any emergency or scheduled work in a heartbeat. His wife, Danielle, was also a pleasure to speak with and meet.

I had a very poor experience with Mike the Plumber. Upon meeting him, he seemed friendly and knowledgeable, was willing to come out during the evening, and priced reasonably. He came to fix a leak in a sewer pipe underneath my house that was connected to my kitchen sink. Later that evening my kitchen sink ended up leaking and I had to call another plumber to come fix that. I'm not sure if that was a coincidence or the result of his work from earlier that day. However, while he was fixing the first leak, he clumsily spilled a bottle of acid he was using to clear the drains onto my brand new washer and dryer. His wife, the business manager, claimed that they were going to see what they could do about replacing or fixing what was ruined. Calls or texts to him or his wife either go unanswered or the response is that he will call back later that day and I would never hear anything. I wish I had seen that review before hiring him. In addition to all the money I spent on plumbing repairs, I had to replace my brand new washer ($750) because the acid he spilled ate holes in any clothing that was washed after I thought it was cleaned out. Luckily the acid spilled on the dryer was only cosmetic and I did not have to purchase a new dryer too. This 'business' is clearly unaccredited, does not have insurance, and does not take responsibility for their actions. Do yourself a favor and check Angie's list or the Better Business Bureau before hiring an emergency plumber - do not trust the glowing Google reviews that Mike so quickly mentions. If something goes wrong, he does not end up saving you any money. This is the first review I have ever written, but I feel strongly that people need to know what kind of people/business they are dealing with in the event something goes amiss during a plumbing repair.

I had a very poor experience with mike on a plumbing repair. Check out the other poor yelp reviews as well... You'll see a bad trend. At first, things went well and I was pleased with the response time and his willingness to try a repair alternative that was going to be a lot less expensive.
That's where the good ended. I paid him the $400 service free and repair charge after this first attempt (my first mistake). Our agreed upon alternative didn't work and my plumbing still leaked. Over the next ten days, my calls and texts went unanswered, with mike always texting that he'd call back later that day and each time I'd get nothing. This is even after he promised to return half of the charge if our first trial repair alternative didn't work.
Because I was putting my house on the market, I couldn't wait any longer than the ten days and ended up having to have another plumber come out and fix the leaking drain.
This is literally the first review I've ever done on any service but I'm that upset that not only did mike never come out and fix the drain but he wouldn't even return a call once he had been paid. The repair ended up costing me weeks of keeping my house off the market as well as $400 more than if I would have just called someone who would see the project til the end.

Mike was awesome. We had a backup to our main sewer line, and him and his wife were out within a couple of hours to fix everything. Good pricing and him and his wife made sure everything was spotless before they left.

I think the previous reviews were either friends of Mike's or employees because he destroyed our house, took his money and never completed the job. We hired Mike to install a set of gas logs. He quoted me 350 dollars over the phone. Fine, I thought that was a great deal compared to the 600 quoted from Piedmont. Apparently he has never actually installed gas logs and just started randomly drilling holes in the fireplace. Once he did this, he announced he needed different drill bits and left. 2 days later, after several calls to his wife (she answers the phone), and to Mike's cell, he finally came back and messed around for about 11 hours, completely wrecking the house. Um, he had the gas logs disassembled on my granite kitchen counter??? He told us it was the logs, they were faulty or broken or whatever so my boyfriend took them back to Lowes. He ran into a similar ""problem"" with the second set which are probably ruined from him messing with them. So we are left without a working fireplace, broken logs, a hole in the rug that Mike tried to hide, filth everywhere and he managed to ""steal"" the 350 dollars off the counter. Do yourself a favor, don't hire this guy, he's nice enough but I'm fairly certain couldn't plumb himself out of a wet paper bag. Zero stars.

We've now had Mike out twice to fix some leaks in our PEX pipes. The first time, late at night, Mike came out quickly and had us fixed in no time. It was a major relief after an emergency call.
Mike is honest and efficient, and communicates well with us. His rates are reasonable. My husband and I are grateful to have his number on speed dial.

Mike installed a water heater for us and was professional, friendly, and fast. I called at night after our water heater started leaking all over and he came the next day with his nice wife (she is his helper). It was the right choice. Good guy and way more affordable than the 2 other places I got estimates from. He came and got the job done fast and he and Mrs Mike are great to deal with. This one is a keeper!

We used Mike to replace a sixteen year old water heater. His work was great and he is a very nice guy. Oh yeah, the price was also very competitive. We will use him again. Try Mike. You can't go wrong!

Please note the amount (OR LACK) of reviews. Mike deletes unflattering comments which misleads those in search. Mike broke more than he fixed; I had to pay appx 1,000 in damages as he dropped off the face of the earth once his work did not hold up. VERY poor work.
