I have had Mike Testa Plumbing to my house a few times now. I love it that they have Saturday appointments and they do not charge extra for Saturdays. Tom has been to my house a few times and is great, very thorough, fixed the problem, and put some clamps on my disposal hose to help keep it round instead of flattening. I highly recommend Mike Testa,

After experiencing an emergency commercial water heater breakdown at our overnight retreat center on a Saturday afternoon, Tom and Kyle came to our rescue! After our previous plumber let us down, I took a chance and called Mike Testa Plumbing. I left a concerned voicemail to Tom and he called me back right away with a promise to do his very best to help the situation. He arrived an hour later to pronounce our 100 gallon water heater dead.

All of the local supply houses were closed and we had no hot water for guest showers, or our commercial dish washer. The dead water heater was leaking all over the basement floor! What a disaster! Tom personally called every contact he could think of and miraculously came through with a brand new water heater that he had delivered from 3 hours away!! The new water heater was installed and functioning within 6 hours of Tom's assessment.

The total job cost less than what we were originally quoted. Tom said he would rather quote us higher just to be safe. We are so impressed at the kindness, honesty, and professionalism of Tom and Kyle from Mike Testa Plumbing! Having never used their services before, we were treated like long time clients. That being said, Mike Testa Plumbing has gained our business and referrals.

Finally a good plumbing experience. Had a kitchen faucet replaced and another one readjusted. We had purchased the faucet in advanced and did not get any static about the company wanting to charge extra because we did not buy it from them. They arrived on time and did a great job.

Mike Testa Plumbing is our new go to plumber. Joe was exceptional. Prompt, clean, courteous and explained things really well. Gave us great tips that saved us money. Rather than install the new toilet I bought, he recommended a different one that was really what we wanted- better height :). and gave me a recommendation of where to buy it for less. When he came back to install he didn't start a new ticket.

I had a clogged kitchen sink so called Testa Plumbing. The person on the phone told me it was $145 per hour (didn't mention drive time included) I thought it was expensive but needed to get the sink cleared. Should have read some of the reviews first. It took the guy 50 minutes to snake the sink -- I have had others out to do it and it was completed much quicker. The reason I complain about the time it took him to finish, is because it turns out they charge for drive time as well. I figured the bill would be for the typical 1 hours time but when I got the bill I was charged for 1.25 hours which added an additional $37 for the drive time. Not sure where they were coming from but seems a ridiculous amount to pay on top of their already high rate.

I needed to select a plumber under the most undesirable of circumstances: an emergency situation without references. I called two other plumbing businesses before calling Mike Testa; they both seemed proud to tell me how many days I would have to wait before they could even spare a plumber to look at our problem (hot water heater stopped functioning). When I spoke to Gabriella at Mike Testa, my experience was entirely different. Her response was, ""Let me see what I can do."" Less than an hour and a half later, a plumber was at our house. Within minutes I was not only incredibly grateful that they had sent out a plumber so quickly, but that they had sent out that specific plumber, Kyle. Kyle very quickly figured out what the problem was. Although it was mid afternoon, he managed to reach the supply house on the East Coast that day and ordered the part. He followed up with them the next morning before 7 am. The supply house sent the wrong part and Kyle followed through, informing me what was going on and when the part would arrive. He made sure we were not charged for any of his time involving the wrong part and that we were not charged for shipping. In addition, he managed to find a way for us to have hot water while we were waiting for the part. I felt like he and Gabriella treated our problem as though it was their problem. Not only was Kyle a highly skilled and efficient plumber, he kept after the supply house to get us our part as soon as possible and he consistently kept me informed. I cannot recommend him highly enough; he was fantastic. Everyone I spoke to in the office was also very helpful and the billing was incredibly fair. My experience with Mike Testa plumbing could not have been better.
