After calling a dozen plumbers for my grandma, i narrowed it down to Mike who had the best price, a lot of experience, and i could tell when talking to him there just seemed little fluff that other plumbers had in trying to condition me to them raising the price on me at some point during the job; i understand alot of miscl things can happen unexpectedly on a plumbing job, but Mike was just very straight about what needed to be done and what he'd do. I gave him the job, he came on time -early in fact which beats the typical late contractor these days - and was pretty quick and efficient with his work and time. I understand, installing a new faucet isnt the most difficult of plumbing work, but what im saying is the guy knows how to be in and out and not in your hair all day. But ULTIMATELY, when i paid him, I was using cash because my car had just been broken into and my wallet had been stolen a few days before. I had to cancel all my cards and checks, and lucky for me a family member loaned me the X amount needed to pay Mike for the job as he and I agreed upon. I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THIS, but my family member apparently told me they were giving me an extra 100 for groceries or whatever, and I missed this detail... So I pay Mike his fee, with the extra 100!!! Now i had told him i tipped him a little, but not 10 min after he left, he calls asking me how much i tipped him, and i told him 20... he then confessed there was an extra 120 to the X ammount i owed him, and he asked me if I believed this was mine, or if it happen to be some leftover cash of his from another job. I believed it to be mine and he so kindly offered to drive it back in the next day or two when he could. In the meantime, prepared to tell him to keep it if it was in fact his, I called my family member just to inquire how much they gave me and they informed me they included this exact extra, and i just for some reason misunderstood that the first time they gave me the cash. However, I didnt need to explain any of this to honest Mike, he took me at my word and simply did the thing of virtue and integrity and like within a day and a half or something like that he drove it back and stuck it under the mat.

So i have 2 reasons why i gave him 5 stars: 1) He did excellent work at a great price i liked, and 2) he was an honest workman when most might not have been. TO BE CLEAR: I never would have known had he not spoken up. This is VERY PRAISEWORTHY guys, and it recalls to my mind the wisdom of the worlds wisest man ""He who is trustworthy in little matters is trustworthy in greater matters"". We all hope to never have to need a plumber's skills because it means we're in a bad predicament, but in the event i need one, Mike Sheehan will be the first plumber i call to compare prices for as i shop around for my grandma next time something goes awry in her home.

Mike replaced our old tub drain/ptrap piping on the second floor that was installed incorrectly when originally built in 1965. He is reliable, friendly, professional and has reasonable prices. He also repiped our hot and cold water lines from under our slab after we have had 4 slab leaks. We highly recommend Mike for all your plumbing needs in the Conejo Valley. Thanks Mike!

We used Mike's services to re-route some copper, change out a cracked trap on my washing machine abs piping, upgrade to 2"" ABS, install/sweat washing machine valve box, and install a gas dryer valve box. Mike did an excellent job and was in and out pretty quickly. I also appreciate that Mike took the time to cover the flooring so he didn't track in mud (it was a rainy day). Awesome job and highly recommended. Will use Mike again.

Mike is a C+ plumber at best that tries to charge over $300 per hour. I had him do 3 small jobs and all 3 had problems that I had a real plumber fix. He then tried to threaten me into paying an exorbitant amount. His whole business model is to rush through the job for which he does very low quality work then threaten homeowners into paying crazy prices. Seriously don't waste your time with this criminal, you'll greatly regret it.

We have used Mike a number of times from fixing and installing toilets to running gas lines in the back yard for a gas grill. He is a good guy who is on time, does a great job and has very fair pricing. He is our go to plumber.

Had high water pressure so had him install a controller for it and a water circulator pump since we wasted a ton of water before the water actually got hot. Finished work in a short period of time at a good price but noticed after he left that sink in kitchen was now always hot. Arranged for him to come back and after a couple of hours of detective work figured out it was something an old contractor had installed completely wrong and he fixed the problem. Can't say enough about his professionalism and his great work. He is my go to guy for plumbing issues and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Good availability & was on time for appt. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest service. A bit sloppy tho, didn't put (or ask if needed to use) on shoe covers did not use a drop cloth, n left putty marks on faucet. A tad pricey for what my minimal need was & could have easily reduced it some for gaining a potential repeat customer.
