Was supposed to come out and pump my septic tank. Never showed up as they said. I called and they said they had no record of me calling or my appointment. Bad business practice. Ill spend the extra money and get another company who will show up when they said they would.

Sherrill C.Used them twice recently. Always on time and courteous they were. Prices are reasonable and work was done quickly and of good quality. I have put them on my call list for honey do projects involving plumbing skills. They were recommended to me by several trusted friends and I earnestly pay it forward.
Deborah C.Calvin from Mike Scott Plumbing on 10/27/2021 repaired 2 commodes & cleaned 2 bathroom drains in one hour!! I was impressed with his explanation of the problem, his speed & his courtesy. I would definitely use Mike Scott for my future plumbing needs.
LeeAnn T.Left a hole in my yard, and didn't finish the job. Said someone came to my door, but my husband and I were both home all day.
Arrived timely when I had an emergency They did excellent work at a fair price Would definitely recommend
Call Mike Scott Plumbing about a problem with hot water out of my cold water spout, Jeff was sent out and fixed the problem in a hour. We had another plumbing service out and they stated there was no problem and charged me $150 for nothing...........Good service and Jeff was great and explained the problem and how he fix-it. Nice work, thanks!
When our kitchen faucet sprung a leak, we called Mike Scott. We had used them a couple of years ago and had a similar issue when my wife asked the technician to wash his hands before he started working in the kitchen and he refused. Because the repairs were in the kitchen (where food is prepared) we asked about the protocol the technicians used with their tools. Did they use tools on toilet repairs and also used them in the kitchen. I asked if someone could call me back with an answer to my question as this was important for us. The service manager, or someone in authority, called my wife and said that they do not use separate tools for any jobs and if this was what we wanted, they were cancelling the appointment and did not want our business. At this point I would recommend anyone but Mike Scott Plumbing.
I called them to come out and clear the drain from the septic to the house. They came out and told me that the septic was full and that cleaning the drain out will do nothing. They called some other division about pumping it out then charged me $131 to come and look and told me pumping fees are separate from them coming out to the house and did not do the job I wanted and expected them to do. In summery they did not do what I asked for, which was snake the line from my septic TAP into the House, and instead charged me for doing nothing but uncovering the top of the septic tank to which I have another service provider I use !! I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS SERVICE AS THEY DID NOT COMPLETE THE JOB I ASKED THEM TO DO ON THE PHONE AND INSTEAD DID WHAT THEY WANTED WHICH WAS CHARGE ME A FEE FOR SOMETHING ELSE !!!
My dad purchased a drain field from Mike Scott Plumbing. It was installed on 9-29-2015. About two and a half years later, my father contacted the company ( Mike Scott Plumbing) to let them know something didn't seem right and to ask if they would come out and look at his septic/drain field. Mike Scott Plumbing told him he was past his warranty and there was nothing they could do. On Jan 6th 2020 the whole house flooded to which an insurance claim had to be submitted. After the claim the homeowners insurance cancelled his policy. We had the septic tank pumped and thought it was ok. (Because the drain field is still new.. just less than 5years old) Since that flooding, the septic has to be pumped every 2-2 1/2 months to keep it from backing up into the house. The company we have pumping out the septic informed us that our drain field """"failed"""". That it was no good. There is mud all through the pipes/tubes. On Aug. 24 2020, I contacted Mike Scott Plumbing to see if they could have one of their people come out and take a look at it. They sent Pat a manager out to the house the same day. Pat stated that indeed the drain field that they installed on 9-29-2015 had failed. Pat said he needed to speak to his boss (owner) and would get back to me on what they could do to help make this right. Pat did not call me back. I called him twice after he came to the house. When I called the office on Monday August 31st, Pat informed me that we are past the warranty and there is nothing they are willing to do for us. I asked Pat ( the manager) how long a typical drain field would last, to which he stated, """"15 years"""". Our Drain field will be in the ground 5 years the end of next month. We have had trouble starting about 2 1/2 years in. I have been told (now) that Mike Scott uses a system that does not require rock under it and this is the cause of the failure. Mike Scott continues using this system because they knowingly offer a warranty that will expire before the system will fail. I would not recommend this company.
