I had no hot water; I phoned Mike Scott Plumbing and they sent someone out within an hour (and this was later in the day); diagnosis was I needed a fan motor. Received Rheem fan motor within three days (under warranty). Phoned Mike Scott Plumbing at 5:15 pm on a Friday night to schedule install and they sent someone out to put fan motor in within an hour. New guys determined I needed a circuit board as well. A little irritated that it was missed by the first guy as I would have to wait another couple of days for the circuit board. Asked it their fee could be waived as it was missed by the first guy. Jeff (great tech) came in and said they were going to replace my whole water heater at no charge (two years old). Came back Saturday morning at 8:45 am and installed. GREAT, GREAT SERVICE. Highly recommend. Service fee initially was $165 (very reasonable)... Give them a call...

I was amazed how quickly they came out on a Saturday. They did not charge extra with it being on a weekend. Logan was very professional and did a great job. Pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

No call no show for a new water heater install. Old water heater was taken out and ready for them to just install new one. Appt was 2-6pm. I called at 5pm to see when they were coming. Guess what they then said oh we can be there tomorrow morning. I told them old one was removed so I have zero water. Didn't make a difference. I'd rather be leaving a good review but a no call no show is a deal breaker. Hopefully they treat others alot better.

I needed a new hose bib installed to replace a leaking one. I'm recently handicapped so what I normally could do myself now needs to be done by others. I give them 3 stars because they showed up on time and did the repair for the amount quoted. But the material at Lowes was $10 and they were here for 15 minutes and the cost was $250. I believe the next time I need a plumber I'll check around for a more reasonable price.

Called Mike Scott Pumbing. They were responsive & were able to accommodate me during a holiday week. Shawn & Wesley came on time, went straight to work and charged a reasonable & a fair price. They were very knowledgeable & professional. I recommend this company.

The Villages Warranty office sent Mike Scott Plumbing to fix a clogged toilet. Warranty office advised that since my home is under warranty, I would not be billed for the repair, unless plumber found """"unexpected household items in the toilet."""" Although the Plumber did not find any household items, he demanded payment.

Normally I do not write reviews But in this case I feel I must. Had my sink trap and piping cleaned out a couple weeks Ago Well the problem is back?? Shoggy work. We are two seniors we don't do anything Unusual with the sink. I called today and asked them to rectify their shoddy work for no charge. Their reply was, they do not guarantee their workmanship. And it will cost me full price for them to come back. Stay away from any company especially Mike Scott if they don't stand behind there work. I live in OTOW.

In 2016, we had Mike Scott Plumbing pump out our septic tank. They said our drain field was failing and we needed a new one. In April of 2017, we had them install a new drain field. The salesperson at the time said the new system should be good for 15 years. I asked specifically about damage to the irrigation system. The sales person said any damage would be repaired by the team in the course of having it installed. The installed the new system, damaged three irrigation lines, buried them without repair and left. I called Mike Scott, but was told at the time it's not their problem. Now, six years later, the """"new"""" drain field is failing. Two weeks ago, the tank was full. I hired a (different) local company to pump the tank and he discovered the filter was inaccessible. The system was pumped in Dec 2016 by Mike Scott, the filter was accessible at that time and it has not been touched by anyone since the 2017 drain field installation. Therefore, the only way the filter could have been damaged was during their installation. I called Mike Scott Plumbing and explained the situation. They said it's not their fault, but they could set an appointment to look at it for $150 and then give me a quote to fix it. I told them they should stand behind their work and I wasn't going to pay for them to look at it and tell me its not working. I already know that. Now, less than 2 weeks later after having it pumped and the filter repaired, the tank is full again. The attached picture is how the other company found the filter when the opened the tank approx. two weeks ago. Bottom line, Mike Scott Plumbing installed a defective drain field, damaged my irrigation system and also damaged the existing filter making it inaccessible. I would not recommend this company.

I hope the service person that we had to deal with is not representative of all employees at Mike Scott Plumbing. On two different occasions, we had to deal with a rude and condescending representative who did not fix our problem. We will not call on Mike Scott Plumbing again.
