Back in 1987, Mike Scott, a former Marine, established Mike Scott Plumbing in Citrus County. Starting with little and an insatiable drive, Mike set out to grow his company on a strong ethical foundation that made him different than other plumbers in the area; honesty, integrity, ethics, and excellence in service. Supported by his wife Pat and their three kids, Tracy, Shawn, and Jason, he set a vision for what would evolve into one of the most reputable plumbing companies in the southeast. As the years passed, the company’s reputation and the Scott family increased. Before long, Mike, Pat, and all three children were working together to manage the rapidly growing business. Together, they envisioned, providing customers with solutions for all their plumbing needs while actively contributing to their local community. Rooted in our core values and with a commitment to community service, Mike Scott Plumbing is dedicated to evolving.

Recommended Customer Reviews

I own several rental properties in Ocala and needed to get the septic system pumped on one of my rentals. Mike Scott Plumbing was able to come out within an hour of my initial phone call and clear out the tanks. The customer service representative I spoke with was very informative and helpful. I am extremely impressed by the level of service I received from Mike Scott Plumbing. Pricing was very reasonable and the level of service is top notch.

Mike Scott plumbing gets zero writing from us zero in zero out in mid January of this year The builder that built our home Called this company for a plumbing problem upon arriving the supervisor who came told us our home was built on top of mud pile... Said it since we didn't call for them to come out and we had no idea of the problem with the dirt in the rain and there would be no bill. And He would have someone Snake out Plumbing That there be no charge ::;;;;;;;Also saying that the dirt so bad it will see him again,, sure enough two months later with the rain we had to call them again After Being lies to Sure enough 4 mos later Receive your original bill we had no idea it was answer Customer service is not lies and deceit That's what you have to look for dealing with this vendor No one wants that whenever he's in again ever I suggest you do the same

Had a Pump problem they looked at it ,15 minutes later gave me a bill for over $100 and said they don't do pumps ,if water runs through it they don't do it ,it's very sad, everywhere you look people just like screwing other people here in Florida

Called around 9:30 am on Monday morning. After the recent rain, my toilets were draining slowly, and my tub was making a gurgling noise while draining. By 1:30, their tech, Messiah, was on the job at my house. He quickly and efficiently found my septic tank lids, emptied the tanks, and cleaned the filter. In less than an hour he was done. Reasonable price too. Highly recommend.

A friend called this company for me. Two guys showed up to find a leak. They dug a hole outside where the main shut off to the house was. Told me I needed a new valve, but did not fix it or offer to fix it. Then went inside the house to see if my toilets were leaking (they were not as they are brand new). They went to the very far side of the house/master bath and told me he could here a leak and it was somewhere in the master bath. Then went back outside, called said friend and decided to do a pressure test. After the test he now says I have a leak in the foundation on the hot water side. Now mind you this is a plumbing company and never offered to fix any of my so called plumbing issues. Just gave me a bill and a number to call a leak specialist. Now leak specialist are 300.00 to start!! Needless to say.....I have NO wall leak or foundation leak. This time I call a plumbing company. They come out and guess what? Found the leak right where Miks Scott's professional plumbers dug!! Mike Scott Plumbing is a waste of money and their office staff is very unprofessional!

I was charged for the 30 minutes the guy spent eating in the truck outside my house. When customer service was told of their failure to clear either drain, the promised supervisor call was never received, failure to install new piping as requested under the kitchen sink, failure to check for leaks after reinstalling the original kitchen sink piping resulting in a pond in my kitchen, they were kind enough to blame me for all my problems and offered to send me an invoice. My sarcasm apparently went over the woman's head because she gave me a happily enthusiastic thank you at the end. These people left a mess of pipe detritus from other homes on my kitchen floor. I don't even want to think what might be in it. They have no shame. Consider this - although this guy did remove his gloves before eating, he neither covered/removed a shirt nor washed his hands. If they don't care about themselves, they will not care about you. Oh yeah - when they say """"plus parts"""", they mean rental and usage of their tools, like a snake. Don't make my mistake.

We had them to come out to fix our toilet and I thought it was fixed and then it started leaking again. Called them and they said they didn't touch the specific part that was leaking, even though they did and wanted to charge me again and told me I was lying.

I needed a plumber in a hurry! I called in the morning and I had 2 new faucets installed by 4pm. Don the serviceman was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone at Mike Scott Plumbing treated me with respect. The job was done quickly and reasonably. My only negative was that no one was wearing a mask. The country is fighting a virus my mother is 86. I would hope they could be more careful during these bad times.

What should have been a simple fix turned into a 6 week joke. Not very good at all, I will stick to Meeks Plumbing for all of our needs in future.

l recently had to have a leaking faucet repaired, it still leaked. They had put in a new cartridge. They claimed that it was a faulty faucet. They still charged me $252.25 . I contacted Delta (the manufacturer) and they sent me the cartridge to repair the faucet. This time I installed the cartridge myself. No leaks. This should have been no more than a 15 minute repair job and they charged me for not fixing the leak.
