Had the new plumbing company come out today to look at the water tank installed by Mike Moore Plumbing in 2015. The part they "" replaced"" didn't have quite enough threads for a proper fit, no plumbing tape and best of all......tightened too much causing a crack all the way down past the threads. They charged me over 200.00 a year ago to do the work while tank was installed three years ago and under warranty. When I called them regarding exact same spot leaking, wanted another 200 to fix the same part but turns out..... they created it. Bad customer service, obviously shoddy work. Saved the part they replaced and cracked if anyone wants a picture. Totally disgusted.

Experienced, excellent professional work. My 126 year old house, with very major restoration 18 years ago, has relied on Mike Moore Plumbing for 30 years. New kitchen installations, bathrooms, hot water, filtration, repairs inside and out. Thank you Mike!!

My cat was in the garage and was on top of the water heater in the corner, and somehow managed to fall down and get stuck behind it. There wasn't enough room for him to squeeze past on either side, and he was getting very upset, so I started calling plumbers. Only problem is, THIS WAS ON A SUNDAY MORNING. My neighbor helped me get started draining the water out of the tank, but I didn't want to try moving the tank myself. The plumbers I called mostly were not answering or calling back. One that I did get ahold of told me that he would probably charge me upwards of $600 since it was Sunday morning (I kid you not). When I called Mike Moore, he returned my call rather quickly, and readily agreed to come out and help me disconnect the tank and move it enough to free the cat, and get it back into place and refilled and working properly. He was very friendly, courteous, and genuinely concerned about the cat's predicament --- or at least MY distress. His bill was, I thought, very reasonable --- so much so that I tipped him $25. I don't know if they would always be so accommodating on a Sunday morning, but in this one instance they were my hero. This happened a couple of years ago, but I have continued to use Mike Moore Plumbing --- at least once more --- and have not been disappointed.

My review is mixed: I'd give them 5 stars for the actual work performed, but only 1 star for the their time/materials costs. I had a leaky bathroom faucet, so I called and scheduled an appointment for the following week - good so far. Tucker, the plumber who did the work, showed up 2 hours early (which is atypical for many services - thankfully I was home so it worked great). He quickly assessed that I needed a new faucet as the leak was in the fixture. Unfortunately, he didn't carry brushed nickel in the truck, only chrome, so he had to go pick up one in town. At this point, I should have asked what the cost would be for the new faucet; my bad, I didn't. He returned ~50 mins later, installed the faucet, and got it working - great! While he was here, my daughter mentioned her drain stop didn't stay up. I was going to just fix it (easily done and didn't require a skilled plumber) but Tucker offered to do the quick fix since they ""charge by the hour"" anyhow and he was already into this more than an hour. More great - he did it within 2 mins. On his way out of the driveway, my husband called the house to tell me he had discovered another leak (I didn't know about) so I quickly ran out to the driveway and stopped Tucker before he pulled away. He was happy to come back in and help, and it took him only 15 mins to troubleshoot/fix the issue - more awesome service! As I mentioned, Tucker was great - everything you'd want to have in someone providing service in your home! I received the bill over the weekend, however, and a black cloud came over my experience. I know that plumbing companies charge by the hour for their service, and Tucker was on the clock while here (including the time he drove to pick up the new facet - which, as a business person, I understand). Total time was about 2 hours from start to finish. That was fine, and I expected to pay for his time, and expected it to be spendy (it was $247). What threw me into the bigger shock was the charge for the faucet - $259! I found the EXACT same faucet at The Home Depot (model # matched their invoice). It retails for $174!!!! Imagine my surprise to find that they charged me 50% mark up on the RETAIL price (and they most likely purchased it wholesale at a bathroom supply store for a contractor's price, not the retail price - so the gouging was even bigger than that). Anyhow, the plumber was great (thanks again, Tucker) but buyer beware/be smart on the business itself. If you want to use Mike Moore Plumbing Repair, ask for a detailed estimate/up front and understand their hourly rates so you're not surprised later. Also, if you need to replace something relatively simple (like a faucet), have the plumber wait while you run to The Home Depot and make the purchase yourself. You'll most likely save yourself a chunk of change.

Do not go with these guys! The plumber was slow and tired. They will charge you by the hour for him to go as slow as he wants. He will be unable to tell you how long he took. You will get a bill with a block amount and no breakdown of the amount of hours.
When you call to question it, the girl in the office is completely rude and will give you a huge speech on how happy everyone is with them. She will not listen to what you say and continue to give you a ranting speech. If you hang up before she feels she is done. She will continue to call you to restate her case.
Their customer service approach seem to be, the customer is wrong. You'll be happy to went with someone else!

I highly recommend Mike Moore Plumbing. Their service was thorough and friendly from the moment they took my phone call through completion. Susan double checked the part #, made the appointment and their service person showed up on time. Tucker was courteous, professional and got the repair done quickly. They were recommended by two of my neighbors and if the need arises, will absolutely call them again.

I had several projects completed by Mike Moore when I was extensively remodeling a home a few years back. My experience was always positive as regards their showing up on time, using quality materials, and completing the work efficiently.
My mother-in-law thought their telephone quote for a small project was too high. The other plumber installed a plastic shutoff valve under the bath sink. It cracked and leaked all through the Thanksgiving weekend, threatening a newly installed floor.
Since that experience, she has hired Mike Moore and been completely satisfied.

Mike Moore plumbing and Tucker really took care of us on short notice. Scheduling was a breeze, the pricing was competitive, and when we had an issue the response time was lightening quick to fix it up. Thank you!!

I didn't have an emergency but I was able to get on the schedule within a week, on a Friday. The fix was for the tub drip, Mike replaced the faucet and showed me why the drip and how to prevent it!
I had also scheduled a dishwasher exchange through Lowe's, both were there timely and simultaneously! Good thing too because my kitchen plumbing was JACKED.
I asked Mike politely if he could also fix the kitchen plumbing, he checked his schedule, and was able to help!
Great service with a smile and a perfect guest, not that I'm a clean freak but he didn't leave a mess!
I expected a HUGE bill because, nope very affordable!
Mike Moore Plumbing always has our business!

What a ripoff! They do decent plumbing but they charge an arm and a leg for basic repairs! I am so disappointed! The owner's wife runs the show and tags every penny possible onto the bill. To repair the insides of a toilet and and outside faucet in little over an hour for close to $400.00? I don't think so! Also, was charged $39.00 travel cost when his wife told me he was already in the area. What is that $25.00 a gallon plus time?
