I need to update this review. in addition to his $300 per hour labor rate he does sloppy work. First, I had to call him back because he had forgotten to tighten a connector. And then again because the faucet he had ""repaired"" continued to drip. He claimed he had fixed it properly and that if it still leaked I'd have to buy a new faucet. I took the faucet apart and discovered he had not properly installed the supply seals and springs. I reinstalled them correctly and now the faucet works perfectly. He spent an hour on ""fixing"" the faucet. $300 down the drain.

Hi Mike. You did a great job updating our three toilets. Now there is a new job to replace the bathtub spout. The old spout was a pull-down control type. The new one (which you would provide) will be a threaded pipe, pull-up control knob, good quality, plain chrome style. Paul Wilkins 360-275-6237

I'm not sure bout his other review but I had a completely opposite experience. He gave me a general pricing quote that seemed to be right about middle of the road compared to the other quotes I recieved. Ended up after work was done to be less than my other quotes (not by much but still very fair pricing). I, per his recommendation and guidance dug the recommended trench and prepped the site. He was able to squeeze me into the schedule so no insanely long wait to get our water installed. He was prompt and friendly we cracked a few jokes and he walked me through the features of my spigot and where to tap it if future water lines are needed. In an area where the ""good ol boy club"" is everywhere it was refreshing as a woman to be treated like an equal. He gave me some great referrals for other contractors we were looking for in our area. I would definitely recommend Mike and will use his services in the future!

I called for a quote for some work. I'll give him a star for asking questions and listening to answers as well as giving some advice. First, his quote was 3x that of other businesses I called. Second, he seemed to think the work was too much. He asked me about the ditch to be dug and the work under my house. I let him know I had completed the ditch. Here's where the conversation went into completely unprofessional territory. He asked if I had a husband. I said I don't see how that is applicable. He said it was applicable because if I had a husband, he could ""go under the house and do that work because a plumber isn't going to want to"" and that it was work that a man was better suited to than a woman. I said I don't see that to be true and he said ""well, get it done I guess."" I said I usually do. I declined to hire him and will be looking for another plumber who can respect women as human beings and has reasonable rates.
