We had several techs at the house here in Buena Park over a five day period. All were professional and sympathetic. They had to dig up part of the floor in the kitchen and a hallway but kept the dirt down to a minimum and did as minimal damage as possible. Always courteous and represented the company well. They offered suggestions to avoid further plumbing issues as well. I will call Mike Diamond Plumbing again if I need the services. Hopefully not needed but one never knows.
I note that this company is advertised as the ""Smell Good Plumber"" but I can't attest to that as only my two dogs did any sniffing. The guys certainly were clean and sparkling in their white shirts.

This company is a rip-off! My water pressure regulator went out causing two bathroom faucets to start dripping. I called ""Mike Diamond"" and they sent out their technician. I almost hit the ground when he gave me a quote of OVER 1200.00!!!!!! Yep! OVER 1200.00 dollars!!!! The pressure regulator cost only 100.00 at Home Depot. So what this company charges is over 1100.00 in labor fees. My husband and I did go to Home Depot and purchased the part and then paid a handyman 60.00 to install it.
I went to work the next and have not stopped spreading the word about this company and their exorbitant prices! I work for a big company and word of mouth as everyone knows is the best or in this case the worst advertising a company can get. I still had to pay the 76.00 for he technician to show up which is unfair too because he did nothing but try a scam me!
Shop around to find the plumber that can do your job well and at a fair price. There are a lot good ones.

Pretty sure this is the old bait and switch game. I had a toilet suddenly back up and water come into my shower and tub on a Saturday morning. After trying to get things moving myself for hours, I finally called and was assured a drain clog was $99 any day and they could have someone out first thing on Sunday. Great! I actually continued to work on it myself for a while longer and did get things draining, but figured for $99, I may as well have them come look and there was probably more that needed to be cleared. Well...within 2 minutes of the guy showing up, I could already feel his need to want to charge me more and he seemed to have no interest in trying to snake the line or anything else related to the problem at hand. He seemed way more interested in giving me an estimate for installing a main clean out line. At that point I flipped out and I asked him to leave. Call any other plumber would be my suggestion.

Fan on FAU would'nt shut off automatically. Showed on time. Serviceman was polite and explained what he was doing during inspection, then explained what he would be doing to make repairs. When finished he pointed out what had been replaced and had even vacuumed the area around the FAU.

The answering service was super nice, friendly and patient. One star.
Told they could send someone out the same day, at our requested time-frame, very pleasing.
Plumber showed up on time, as promised.
He was nice and efficient diagnosing the problems.
Except that his estimate -to fix 2 sinks, snake a clogged drain and do the innards of a toilet -came to $1,722. Ugh, no...

The previous estimate for doing all the same stuff was $395 and we thought that was too high! Yikes.

When I told my friend about Mike Diamond's quote he screamed at me and said: DO NOT USE THEM. ALL YOU'RE PAYING FOR ARE THEIR ADS AND BILLBOARDS. After I got the estimate, I was like, OK!

My water heater went out on Saturday the 7th. I called Mike Diamond around noon, gave the customer service department the make and model of my heater and was told that they would send somebody out the next day between 8:00 and 1:00.

After waiting around all day I called at 1:30 to check on the status of my service call and was told the technician was finishing up another job and there was still one more call ahead of me. I waited till 2:30 and checked with the dispatch office to see if I could get a time frame and was told that after further review they don't service the brand of unit that I had.

So to make a short story late I waited around for them to come out and fix something only to be told 24 hours after my original call and after 2 calls to check on the status of the tech that they couldn't even look at my water heater because they service the brand of unit that I had.

Never again will my business go to this company and I will make sure that none of my friends or acquaintances use their service either. They wasted a complete day for me to wait for them to still be told by their dispatch unit they couldn't help me in the first place.

Mike Diamond plumbing is the worst!! They scam you, overcharge, and send out basically incompetent plumbers.

We called Mike diamond, the smell good plumber, to replace a bathtub fixture that we purchased from Home Depot for $84. He plumber shows up an hour late and then tells us it is 850 dollars to replace the bathroom fixture. When we said we were not interested in paying 10 times what we purchased at Home Depot the plumber got huffy. He then tried to charge us more than we were quoted for the visit. Their plumbers might smell nice, but there is sure something smelly in Denmark. Needless to say, we will not be calling them again

Yeah total scammers. They wanted to charge us $432 to scope a toilet!! This is just too diagnose any issue. Can't imagine what fixing it would cost. What a ripoff. Call your local plumber instead.

This week we had a simple PVC leak. They charged $435. They were going to charge even more until I complained they were going $150 over the estimate. Then they tried to hard-sell us thousands of dollars in additional work that we did not need. Their plumbers may smell good, but their business practices don't.
