Had them come out to inspect and possibly snake our house. Although we ended up not using them, I appreciate the helpfulness and will use them if we need to! Jacob was extremely helpful and helped identify the issues. He deserves a raise for sure.

Beware! I had a minor request to replace the fill valve in a standard toilet. Response time was good, but cost $76 just to show up. The service man was here approximately 10 minutes and provided an estimate to replace the valve at $399.63. I declined the work and made arrangements with a different service provider for $75 parts and labor.

I should have looked at this yelp page before calling in. I spoke with sharon and she immediately answered in a very bitter voice while reciting their usual ""how can we make you smile today"" line. Maybe try smilling yourself! They dont give estimates over the phone like their ads state and sharon was snappy and rude. I will continue to look for a diff. plumbing company. I have a recording of the call too if anyone at mike diamond is interested in listening to the service they are giving out.

There is a reason why after 150+ reviews, ""Mike Diamond Services"" carries only one and a half stars. Really? Their slogan is ""Thank you for calling Mike Diamond Services, how can we make you smile today?"" That should be changed to ""How can we piss you off today like we did to every other customer?""

I really didn't want to write this review after the first encounter with them, but after giving them another shot, they are completely unreliable. NOT RECOMMENDED.

First service - Back to Back unit drain clogs and they were not able to clear it. Due to the ""wall mounted sink, they want to charge over $700 to dismount / remount and clear the clog. Really? $700 to take the sink off the wall? I ended up heading down to the unit myself to dismount the sink (which took only about 15 min) and rented a snake from Home Depot to clear the drain myself.

Second service - initially called to make an appointment for the next day between 8 am to 1 pm. After waiting for hours, no one showed up at 1:30 pm. Called in again to listen to their ""how can I make you smile"" BS, the ""manager"" informed me that they are running behind and someone will arrive ""within the hour"". Again, after waiting until 3:25 pm, nobody showed up.

STAY AWAY FROM MIKE DIAMOND SERVICES.

these guys are some of the worst... not the actual plumbers but the company itself... they only allow their guys to do half ass jobs... sometimes my $99 drain cleaning actually creates more problems and I have to go and snake the drain myself... they never fix any real problems

This is the worst plumbing service I have ever received in my life. Zero professionalism and absolutely horrible service. Oh he unclogged the line but he left a pile of human feces on our front lawn. The ""SMELL GOOD PLUMBER"" left a smelly mess. And mind you, this all happened the day my husband had knee surgery, so he could see that my husband was in no condition to clean up after his mess. So guess what my husband is doing now? Cleaning up his horrible mess that got left behind by this sub-par plumber. Shameful, absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen in a company. Whoever that guy was should be fired!

I had a toilet blockage. My toilet is a Toto washlet bidet toilet that warms the water and seat, serves as a bidet etc. The plumber came in with an assistant and they removed the toilet in order to clear the blockage. In the process, sewage came up into the bathtub. They replaced the toilet, but it was no longer operational. When I asked what would be done about the sewage in the tub the plumber advised me to get some paper towels and wipe it out. I told him I felt he should leave the situation the way he found it. He then told his assistant to wipe it out. I tried for 2 days to reach the plumber about the fact the toilet was not operating the way it was before he arrived. When he finally returned my call I asked him to come back and fix the toilet. He said that was not his job and he knew nothing about that kind of toilet. When asked why he would work on a toilet that he knew nothing about, he had no response. When I suggested that he should leave a home in the condition he found it, he did not have an adequate response to that either. Almost immediately after we hung up another man called and had been informed that I was unhappy. He had another plumber at my home within the hour. This man was polite and competent. He got the toilet operational again in short order. I have yet to have the office call to see if I am satisfied with the work or the solution. Also, I found their services to be very expensive.
Oh, yeah, while the plumber was there, I asked him how much to fix a faulty faucet. He said that it needed a cartridge and gave me a quote for over $700 - which I declined. A few days later a handyman also told me that it needed a cartridge and told me it would cost approximately $30.
I will never call Mike Diamond again for service, nor will I recommend them to my friends.

I was lulled into calling Mike Diamond and his ""smell good"" plumber for a clogged drain. The dispatcher was very nice, friendly and efficient. I was given an appointment between 1:00 and 4:00pm. I was also told the plumber would call 30 minuted prior to arrival. Well at 3:50pm no call. I called Mike Diamond and was told ""We are really busy: The irony here is that their ""hold message"" is all about customer service. A complete joke. I called my local guy and he was here in less than an hour. Mike Diamond...What a waste of time and what a waste of advertising dollars. You'll never get a call from us again.

We called for a clogged kitchen drain, and should have looked at the Yelp reviews first. They quoted us $550.00 because our sink wasn't near a window and the pipe was at a 90 degree angle and harder to snake. They will find a way to not honor the ""any pipe unclogged for $99.00"". Don't buy into it.

Mike Diamond aka ""the smell good plumber"" tried charging me $500 for a replacement piece for a tempress shower handle and a total of $1750 for installation and what not. My boss asked the plumber (who didn't even smell any differently from any other person) why we couldn't just buy this piece and do it ourselves he said that they would just laugh us out of the store because we didn't have contractors licenses.
We later got other local plumbers to do estimates and one said it would be impossible to find that piece ourselves and he could replace the valve over the span of two weeks.
Turns out this little plastic piece really is almost impossible to find. And for the most part can only be obtained by special order.
Thanks to a worker at Lowes in Aliso who used to work at Biard & Crockett down in Orange, told me to try them for the piece.The piece ended up costing $14 there and took me 5 minutes to put the handle back with all its assorted pieces.
Shout out to Steve out at #lowes and the men down at #biardandcrockett for being real homies.
I would not recommend ever using Mike Diamond for your plumbing needs. I can't believe they tried to pull a fast one on me like that...just unbelievable.
If you want something done right...do it yourself....or at least ask around haha
