the $99 charge for unclogging is accurate as long as they get the clog out, no charge if they can't. They could not unclog my drain and the toilet was backing up in to the shower. They suggested using a camera for the price of $250 to see the clog and pus the blockage. They sent a supervisor to use the camera but was still unsuccessful. They then told me they can use a waterjet to clean out the drain at the cost of $1800, which I reluctantly agreed. They were still unable to do it. They tried to go through the drain waste vents, the clean outs and still nothing. They wanted to add another clean out at the cost of $2600. At this point I had to say no.

elder abuse..my husband is a contractor where we live he helps out neighbors . the couple in their 90's needed drain cleared for toilet. he called this company and it was going to be 99 dollars. ty told them he would pull the toilet. the co. says don't do that. it's not needed. ty said you are sure. i always pull the toilet. he said okay if any problems don't do the job. the plumber came right in pulled toilet. didn't explain or give an estimate and then charged these elder people who can't hear,ones in a wheelchair $553.for pulling a toilet. 20 minutes. shameful. ty called every day finally rose called back offered $150 back. so admitted to co. being wrong but would not give the whole amount. i will post once a week. ty willnever recmmend on jobs he has when customer needs a plumber. i will facebook. call better business bureau. next door. any means possible for this company to lose business or go bankrupt. i work in retail and have posted in our breakroom to never use this co. please do not use!!!!!!

I have dealt with Mike Diamond Plumbing since 2018 and while they do generally good work, I have always felt that they overcharge for the jobs. I didn't know any other good plumber so I called them on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, to remove a stack on flange that THEY installed from the toilet in the guest bathroom. The bathroom remodel was almost finished with only the installation of the toilet, plus a few other minor items to finish the project. The dispatcher told me that a plumber could come out within two hours. Later that day she called back and said that he was running late and could come out on Saturday morning at no extra charge (i.e for weekends). The plumber came out on Saturday morning, looked at the project and called his office. He then told me that he would need to charge $2,400 to remove this flange and that if he had to go into the wall, it would be more money. Because my contractor was coming back on Tuesday to finish the project, I felt pressured as not to delay the project from being finished- but at the same time, I was astounded at the price he quoted and told him that it was too much. He worked for less then 90 minutes to remove the flange that his company had put in in 2019. No parts were required. Only labor
After losing sleep that weekend I called the Mike Diamond office and asked to speak to the manager. I didn't get his name, but when I told him my story, he said that his company had charged me more than that in 2019 and that prices had gone up since then, so I should be OK with this cost. I said that I wasn't happy because I felt extremally overcharged for less then 1.5 hours of labor only. He then said he would return $200 to make me feel better. I felt that was an insult and I hung up. I was so angry that I couldn't sleep that night again.
I would never recommend Mike Diamond Plumbing to anyone! Just talking to the man on the phone, I feel they take advantage of elderly and with no remorse at all.

In my opinion, these people are terrible, I believe they took me for a dummy because I'm a girl. There was a loose bolt in the toilet tank, with an old rubber washer. They quoted me $1000 to fix/repair my toilet. Recommended that I replaced my entire toilet and didnt want to tighten the loose bolt due to the ""risk of cracking the old rubber washer"". I ended up hiring a different plumber who just replaced the washer and tightened the damn bolt for way cheaper and faster than what they were recommending. I was in so much disbelief with what they were recommending/quoting me, i respectfully told them id consider it and just paid them the service fee for coming and looking at my toilet. Thought about leaving this review for while and finally decided to post it.

Terrible company!! Service fee just for showing up and charged over $400 for faucet installation. Never again!

Should be sued for elder abuse. Charged my parents $15,750 and their sink is still leaking, now charging them an additional $1,500 for ""other work"" and then referred an AC person out to the tune of $4,400 for a ""few repairs"" and it's not even working right. They are not very good plumbers but very good at selling stuff you don't need. Guess someone needs to pay for all that advertising.

Total scam, they charged a $20 fuel charge on top of the $80 to come look at a leaking sink. They concealed the charge until after they arrived. Definitely stay away from this company. Low quality all around.

They wanted $500 for removal and replacement of my toilet and they change a $20 fuel fee... Ummm no thank you! On the upside though it didn't cost me anything but my time to have them come out.

our hot water heater was leaking and they came out and quoted us 7,000!! absolutely ridiculous! got second quote and all we needed was two new hoses! 150 with service fee! I will never use them again

1.5 stars, I didn't even think it was possible but it's well deserved. We called because the kitchen sink was backing up. The 1st guy that came out couldn't unclog it and he said he'll comeback with a manager with a camera. They never came back or called until my wife got a hold of them and talked to a guy named Greg. They came out, ran the camera and told us we needed a clean out farther down the line and wanted over $1200 to do it. He showed me where it was going. I could tell he was lying because he was whispering to the other guy he was there with. You would think for $200 they could be honest. It's stupid business because we used them a few times before but now we'll never use them again.
