We received excellent service from Sean and Jorge from Mike Diamond Plumbing twice this week. We had many problems with draining the dishwasher and the garbage disposal and the sink. They worked very hard and took the time to educate us on how to fix it in the future. They were patient, knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Mike Diamond just sends other plumbers to do the job.
what a horrible experience. I know plumbing yet they still tried to rip me off.
after getting out the clog. I buy the warranty. the clog comes back the next day and they cannot get it unclogged. want $1400 to jet blast the pipe.
i refuse and they leave... I get out my snake and clear it out in 10 minutes.

The tenant of my rental property called me the other day and complained about the main drain being clogged so I asked him to call a rooter service for unclogging the drain. He then called Mike Diamond Plumbing Service because they have been heavily advertising on the radio for unclogging for $99 with the ""Smell Good Plumber"" BS.
Anyway, that plumbing company sent a technician to the house, I was not there but my tenant showed him the problem. The guy stuck in a snake in the main drainage and pretended to struggle with the snake. He then tells my tenant that there is some kind of bad obstruction in the drainage making it difficult to snake through. He told my tenant that he will have to stick in a camera after he cleans it out to check the problem. Somehow the drain suddenly got unclogged, his job was done and there was no reason for him to insert the camera inside the drain but nonetheless he did. He stuck in a video camera head and showed my tenant a blurred foggy video from which you could not tell anything and told my tenant that there is a serious problem with the drainage system. He said the pipe inside is broken and the drainage will not last long for any more than a few days and must be fixed right away or it will clog again. The landlord will have to get it fixed now or they will not be able to use the toilet. My tenant then called me and gave me the bad news. I asked him to put the technician on the phone and spoke to him. I was very upset and asked the technician how did the pipe break, and who gave him the permission to stick in a camera in our drain. I got the feeling either he broke our pipe with his equipment or was giving me BS. He then told me that he did not break any pipe and they just they do this as a courtesy for their customers whenever they are called to unclog drain. Normally, he said they charge 350 to 400 dollars to check the drain with a video camera and that he is doing this a favor for me by not charging me for it. I told him I did not ask it and don't need any favors from him because I had my drain thoroughly checked by a professional very recently and there were no problems found. I then asked him to send me a complete report of the damage along with the video clips for me to review with an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it, but he hung up the phone and left. I later found out that this company Mike Diamond Plumbing had a lot of bad reviews on the internet and it was not surprising know that they have been using this kind of scare tactics and unscrupulous practices to rip off their customers.

My mother's water heater gave out after only 5 years, and my brother remembered Mike Diamond radio commercials saying if you buy the water heater from them, installation is 99 dollars. They knew my mom was old and not in good mental health, and came out and gave her an estimate of over 8,000 dollars to install a new water heater. My brother want to Lowe's and bought a new 30 gallon for $600 and the two of us installed it in less than 30 minutes. Where does the eight thousand dollars come in? Greed, pure greed. Taking advantage of senior citizens should be a crime. Read the other 1 star reviews to see they are not to be trusted.

There service also includes charging you for there gas unreal , 99 dollars , for a poor job, will never use there services again and will tell people not to use them

Needed a simple hot/ cold water cartridge change out, Tech came out and quoted $1100!!!! I thought it was a joke, having some experience with cartridges I was baffled. Cost a hundred dollars to tell me that, and end result I changed it myself for $40 and 30 minutes without water. These guys are predators and this WILL NOT be the only platform I will expose them on. Absolutely unacceptable!

Used their service in the past for a $99 unclogged drain. Thought they were reasonably priced. Needed a garbage disposal swapped for one I purchased from Costco. Two guys show up. Couldn't give me a price til they went outside and called the office. At first they estimated it would be over $400. Nope, they came back in and it was closer to $600!
Such a scam to run radio commercials with cheap quotes for drains and try to take advantage for all other work.
I almost paid the $400 price quote but $600 quote....not including the actual disposal... made me sick to my stomach.
I wasn't going to write a review until I disputed the service charge on my CC and I got a call from Mike diamond employee saying they have high overhead and I don't understand business. One thing that's upfront and clear is the company doesn't care about customer satisfaction. The reviews speak for the company. I spent almost 30 minutes with their dispute resolving department. They don't quote ANY other prices upfront for services and I truly feel this company takes advantage. Instead they hope people won't want to pay a service fee to give a quote and pay their absolutely ridiculous prices! I am very surprised they're still in business the way they their company.

If you're in Riverside County or IE area use Beast Plumbing. They showed up same day and charged around 150-200.

2023. Not ever recommended. Misleading current commercials; they do not mention during the commercial.....upon ""availability"" regarding Mother's Day. Commercials are totally misleading relative to service. One has to call the service line to find out if they are ""available;"" hence, so they were not available on Mother's Day 2022. (Overflowing toilet, flooded bath & hallway, etc). I know that was 1 yr ago. BUT, Mike Diamond commercials are running AGAIN this year, 2023, relative to Mother's Day.....A JOKE. Okay, I called in 2022; no service in my area; however, Mike Diamond has a office in a neighboring city. Hearing the commercials now in 2023 brings back BAD MEMORIES of what we went thru in 2022. So, if you hear the commercials now in 2023......they never mention a ""disclaimer"" relative to ""availability."" I did call them this date (Saturday, management offices closed)..... to complain about the 2023 commercials, and the service line rep says that I have to use ""common sense."" (rudeness). She mentioned that they are #1 & help celebrities, so I guess one has to be a celebrity to get service......especially, on Mother's Day. I see they don't even have 2 STARS.....understandable. I had to give 1 STAR just to make this comment.

I wasn't home when I received a call from my SO saying the drain was clogged AGAIN. I admit. I've heard Mike Diamond Plumbing commercials on the radio so I bit. I called and they said they'd be there in a few hours. They showed up when I was at my office.
My SO called and said they told her they had to get under the house. This was a red flag. Why the F do they need to go under the house. So they went under and I left my office to see what they were up to. I got home before the guy came up from under the house.
Me ""why are you under the house?""
Him ""We need to check the entire system for leaks.""
Me ""The CLOG is in the trap!""
Him ""we found a leak at a connection and the pipe looks weak.""
Me ""show me a picture of the leak and pipe""
Him ""I don't have one""
Me ""go get one""

He climbed back under the house, then came up and showed me his phone. I'm not a photographer. But I know BS when I see it. The picture was out of focus and dark. They're was some moisture around the pipe, but nothing to be concerned about.

Him ""That's the best picture I could get""

Me "" give me an estimate for the drain unclog please""

Him ""I need to talk to my boss...""

The guy walks out and comes back in with an invoice.

HIM ""in order for us to unclog the line, we're going to need to replace the entire waste line.""

I admit I got suckered by the advertising. I thought that this company may have integrity.

Unfortunately, I subsequently found out that the plumbers they hire are commissioned base so try to increase the work, therefore increasing the price.

I called a friend of mine who is a plumber. I apologizes and he fixed the drain.

It only cost $110
