Tech #6287 was called out to clear the lines in the toilet and the bathtub. We were told he would be there around 8:00 pm after the call he was on. So at 9:45 tech#6287 Robert shows up and takes a look at the bathroom and ask do you have a access to the bathroom from the outside and my man said yes, takes him to the backyard and I hear this Ginger Robert tech #6286 tell my man it will be $3,000.00 to get access under the house to clean the lines. WTF YES THE QUOTE IN WRITING IS $2950.00.... This POS didn't offer to put a camera down the toilet to see where the problem might be. HE ROBERT TECH #6287 SHOWED UP AT 9:45 and the simple quote was given at 9:57. IM NOT LOOKING TO GET SCREWED OVER BY YOUR HYPE OF MIKE DIAMOND AND NO THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO SEE IF THIS POS SMELLED GOOD BECAUSE NO HE DIDN'T HE SMELLED LIKE IM GOING TO F THEM OVER AND MOVE ON GO GO HOME TO HIS FAMILY. Was he friendly No. He didn't give 1 or 2 Shits about what was the problem!!!!

Called at 5:30pm due to a small leak I discovered outside my house. That was considered an after hour call which was hefty, $260 for them just to come to my house. The original clerk said they would send me an email and then call half hour later to say when they would arrive. Received the email and no call after 1/2 hour. Called them again 45 minutes later. Received a different clerk. I asked when I could expect someone to call me when they were coming. She explained I had to reply on the email to get them to come out. The original person did not share that important detail. The plumber finally arrives an hour after this second call. Looks at my leak, says its unrepairable. Then tells me, he cannot turn off my water because it's missing a turning dial/valve. Then we found another faucet to slow the water down. He literally told me it was frozen. I looked at him, bent down and turned the valve myself. What a complete idiot!! Did absolutely nothing for me but came with a big truck i'm certain, loaded with equipment.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! They rip you off!!!! $260 for absolutely nothing! Disgusting mannerism and totally inept!!!

They advertise ""smell good plumbers $99, it doesn't matter if it is kitchen sink or main line stoppage"" DON'T YOU EVER BELIEVE this. Technician named Blas came, wanted to charge $198 for a simple kitchen sink. He invented excuses. We called his manager Irving Sanchez he invented more ridiculous new excuses. Since I had to cancel my appointments and waited all afternoon so I had to accept. He unscrewed by hand few plastic pipe knots and snaked it for15 mins and charged double. I will never ever call them again.

I've been meaning to get this review done, so here goes. I've used Mike Diamond several times in the past to clean the main line at my house as well as various other lines, and have basically and generally been happy. So I called them with regard to a leak under the sink from a mini water heater at my office in Whittier. First, I already knew that the leak was coming from the unit, but they informed me they needed to charge $76 just to come and diagnose. What a surprise it was as I said. They then proceeded to quote me over $2000 to install a new one. Never mind that these units are available for about $200 on-line. So I asked if he would simply bypass the heating unit which would stop the leak and allow us to use the sink, which he then quoted at over $300. We paid the $76, and I picked up a $2 brass cap from Home Depot and capped the valve to the heating unit and fixed the problem with water back on to the sink. Total time to install; less than two minutes. In summation: I will never trust, use it recommend Mike Diamond Plumbing EVER again.

I was attracted to the add for $99 sewer drain clean out. The first
employee to come was unable to clear the line. I have lived here
for decades and had the sewer drain cleaned many times. The new
solution offer by Diamond was to cost $1,600.00 by a subcontractor
I fear it was a bait and switch deal with tremendous profit for Diamond.

I have tried 3 times calling Mike Diamond Plumbing all the radio commercials indicate they will come over and fix your problem etc.... Well in the 3 times I have tried to use them they NEVER have anyone available on that day it is the next day or the following or the following. When everything is backed up and I can't use any of my plumbing I certainly don't need someone coming in 2 or 3 days. Don't waste your time dialing this number!

Called for my mom for a clog drain for the $99
Special. They came right over and then that $99 spacial turn into 3k. Wow when they seen that my mom was elderly they tried to pull a fast one over here. Where in the heck did they get 3 thousand dollars from for only to clean a frickin drain. The good news we found a trustworthy plumber who fix the problem for $160.00. What ever happen to trustworthy people who don't prey on the elderly.
Don't trust this Company....or whoever they are associated with....

Young man shows up named Dillon.. I explained we have a backed up line and there is poop coming up in shower. I explained it's probably because my kids flush wipes, q tips and lots of
Toilet paper. I showed dillon the two clean outs we have. One in the garage and the other clean out in front of room. He refused to snake the clean out in garage where I knew the problem was. He only snakes the front one and said we had Roots in the line and that it needed to be hydrojetted and he would hydrojet the second line at no charge and it will only be 1500.00... oh and he would do the camera inspection after hydrojet to make sure he got everything WTF. I knew he was full of shit just like my shower. I said wouldn't it make sense to do the camera first? Oh no we will do it after it's cleaned out. Well wouldn't you use camera first to see what the problem is??? I am not that stupid!! Just cause I am a lady. Dillon says we can do easy financing for the 1500.00 though. After arguing for a few mins I said no thanks and called another company team rooter. Much better!! Team rooter laughed when i told them what mike diamond wanted to charge and do. Team rooter tech Ignacio snaked the line in garage because he could see there was no still water at the other line that mr Dillon insisted on doing. Team rooter tech said there was a lot of debris toilet paper, wipes, q tips etc.. team rooter used a camera first to see what was going on. Team rooter said there was no roots in the line what's so ever. So Dillon with mike diamond is full of shit!!! Stay far away from mike diamond unless you want to get ripped off!!! Thank god i went with my gut and called another company. Cost me 170 instead of 1500.00. If team rooter did the hydrojet it would have only been 500. That would include snaking my line and using camera. What a difference in price! Run from mike diamond!!!!
