Had an evening bath tub running water issue. Richard came out and was appropriately calm and knowledgeable (I was a bit frazzled with two kids in the house and a broken faucet). This was a Thursday evening. He tried to get the part on Friday, no luck. Was able to come out on Monday to replace it. Took his time to make sure it was fixed properly.

Jamie Reyes from Mike counsil plambing did a great job replacing valves under the sink and fixing the leak. Very professional and respectful. Went 'extra mile' and checked to make sure other pipes and devices closed by are still in good condition at no extra charge.

My water heater was leaking and it was broken I called a technician and was told they would come out to my house between 4 and 6 PM today at 6 PM no one arrives so I called and I was told the technician will be on his way he'll be here shortly at 7 PM he did not arrive so then I called again and they said they would have the technician call me the technician called me and said he's on his way and I said I was told you were on your way an hour ago where are you and he stated he would be here in 20 minutes or so this is truly unacceptable do not ever go to these people in the meantime I had turn down three other plumbers phone calls that I had called previously I am very dissatisfied with the service do not Do business with them I wasted a whole day

I called on a Saturday for 24 hour service. They guy on the phone said the soonest thy could have a guy here was Wednesday! I don't call that emergency service!!! Won't ever call or recommend them to anyone!!!

This is the most unprofessional Plumbing company i have dealt with , they missed my appointment thrice only to call me 20 minutes before the appointment window expired. Very unprofessional.

Had a DIY bathroom repair that hit some trouble when it was discovered the shutoff valves and lines to each sink were with old hardware that the parts aren't available for. Wasn't sure where to go next so I called Mike Council Plumbing who came out to help. Heber came out and worked with me on options and we found a plan where he replaced one of the eight lines while showing me each step so that I could finish the project myself to help keep the job costs down. Happy to report I successfully completed the first sink today and I'm super confident about the remainder of the project. These guys are absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend them.

While we were gone on vacation we had a plumbing line leak from our heater. We needed an accurate diagnosis to submit a claim to our insurance company. Our HOA usually recommends Aqu**k or Le**ler Engineering, however after endless homeowner complaints over these two companies, I went out on a limb and tried Mike Counsil. The technician that was sent out was Kevin Bueno. He was on time, well spoken, courteous and knowledgeable. He gave me an accurate diagnosis and a thorough write up, in and out in less than 20 minutes, which I was grateful for in light of the constant stream of vendors I've seen lately, it's nice to have someone who knows what they are doing get to it and take care of business quickly. Would highly recommend.

Mike Counsil is amazing - we have had a sump pump in our basement for the past 20 years and it has never worked as well as we would have liked. Mike Counsil then enters the scene - they stuck with the project until it was 100% complete and perfectly done. Their expertise and dedication are second to none. I have used Mike Counsil many times in the past and have always been satisfied even though they are on the expensive side. After installing a new water heater, the MC plumber informed me that he smelled a gas leak at the meter. He said he called PG&E to see if the leak was in their lines and supposedly it was not (I never saw or spoke to anyone from PG&E) After repairing the leak on my side, he determined there was still a leak somewhere else on the line. He quoted me almost $3k to chase the leak and repair, or almost $14.9k to re-pipe to my water heater and furnace only. I am a senior female on a fixed income and do not have that kind of money, so I called another licened plumber for a second opinion and guess what? There is NO leak. Not sure what was going on here but I am pretty sure I will not use Mike Counsil again.

I had a fair amount of under-house water supply line that needed to be replaced, in addition to some reworking of the kitchen water/drain lines.

Mario led the effort and spent a full week working through a variety of issues, keeping me fully informed and involved in the process.

It didn't help that it was hot weather and that there were many obstacles (foundation and ductwork) under the house. They were troopers, for sure.

Mario and his team kept all in-house work areas perfectly clean, and went out of their way to keep most of our water turned on both during the day and overnight. This was especially helpful since we were working from home due to COVID.

Much appreciation for the quality of their work, the attention to detail, keeping me fully in the loop, and for just being nice and friendly.
