Go anywhere else, the poor rating here is well deserved and I wish I'd checked before having them do work at my place. They'll quote ridiculously expensive rates on work that doesn't need to be done. Ridiculously overpriced quotes on work that doesn't need to be done, and patronizing responses to bad reviews.

Patently unethical estimates for insanely over-priced and unnecessary work. Go elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

I called regarding a blocked sewer line on a Friday afternoon. The rep came out went under the house to examine. Once he came to discuss the work, he said the sewer had broken under the base rock beneath the house (it wasn't visible but sewage was coming from the area), and there were pools of sewage under the house, and the entire line to the street would have to be replaced. The estimate was $68k, I'd have to stop using any water in the house immediately, and the work would take 2 weeks to complete due to trenching required. I also got a hard sell on a Friday - waiting even an hour to make a decision would mean multiple days of delays in scheduling.
Things I asked for:
- Photos to be sent: the rep said he tried to send them several times, but neither attempt was successful. Note: I'm now certain that the photos of the house being shown to me were NOT of my house.
- An attempt at snaking the line - if it was going to be replaced, breaking it further wouldn't be a big deal and could give me a few days to consider. Nope, not an option.
- Examination of the line with a camera - Also not an option.

Given the costs involved, I called another company for a second opinion. The sum total of that work to get my old-but-functional sewer line came in at $1,200 -- 2% of the estimate from Mike Counsil.

Don't fall for the hard sell, and always get a second opinion. I'm 100% for paying service folks a fair wage, but not for cheating customers with a panicked & falsified rationale.

My husband & I had our galvanized pipes replaced w/copper pipes from another company. Right after we developed a small constant drip from one of our faucets. We also needed to have an automatic shutoff valve installed for insurance purposes. The company we hired to do the repiping never returned our phone calls so we called Mike Counsil P&R & they did great! They were thorough. Took their time. Explained everything they were going to do. Oblait & Brian. A were amazing! I HIGHLY recommend them & if we ever need to get our house serviced again for plumbing issues, we will definitely be giving them a call. They are not pricey. With their work ethic & service, we felt comfortable with them in our home.

Travis Parker came out on time and was fabulous. He put slippers on his shoes and proceeded to install a new garbage disposal. He was very professional and got the job done.

What a ripoff! I had a cartridge that needed to be replaced in my shower faucet. The technician agreed it was probably a 30 minute job. Then we looked up a price in a big pricing book and told me it would be over $600!!! When I told him that was ridiculous, he looked up another line in his price book and told me he could do it for $485! Totally crazy. They only work by the job, not by the hour. So if your job is something quick, it's still hundreds of dollars. I told them what I needed when I booked the appointment. Total waste of my time.
