On 19 Sep 19 based on an earlier Yelp Review, I engaged the services of Encinitas's ""Miguel's Sprinkler Repair"" to replace a leaking/broken lawn sprinkler head in my front lawn. Four hours and $820 later...all done! Yikes! But to be fair, the four man team spent a lot of time on my front lawn and in their van conferring as a team before two of them started digging. Felt as though the final billing was a bit excessive but my front yard sprinklers appear to be operating well. Frankly I probably should have gotten a second, third estimate/assessment....

Really great service! Miguel and his team were in the area and arrived 30 min after I called on Saturday morning - very impressive. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem - a faulty valve - and repaired some broken tubing and sprinkler nozzles. A perfectly running system in under 1 h. I'll definitely be using this company in the future.

Miguel and his team were fast and efficient at solving the irrigation needs I had. After having several other companies come out and quote, it really came down to reviews for picking who I thought was best and I am happy to say I picked the right man for the job. As a property manager, I work with many people who are incapable of doing a job competently. Miguel is not one of those and I will definitely be having him back when something comes up. 5 stars

My irrigation system stopped working and my lawn and garden were all dying in the heat. I did the best I could watering by hand when I found Miguel on Yelp. I called and explained what was happening, and he and his team came out the same day. They figured out the problem promptly, and fixed everything. Miguel is not only talented in diagnosing and repairing the problem, he is also patient, kind, clear in his explanation, and reasonably priced. They truly deserve 5 stars.

Contacted Miguel to fix a couple of broken irrigation lines, set up a new sprinkler zone and troubleshoot a short circuit. He responded quickly and was able to fit me into his schedule within a couple of days. (I called on a Thursday and he scheduled me for the following Monday. Another company said they were booked for the next 4-5 weeks.) Miguel arrived with his team, all very nice and professional. They diagnosed the issues, provided an estimate, and got to work quickly. Miguel was very clear about explaining the work they needed to do and why, and then showed me the work they had done to make sure I was happy. The price seemed very fair. The only minor issue was that they arrived a couple hours later than we had agreed upon. I sent a text to Miguel approx 30 minutes after the originally agreed arrival window had passed. He called back about 20 minutes later and told me they would be arriving within an hour - which they did. Considering they were able to fit me in to the schedule so quickly, I would not dock a star, and I will definitely contact Miguel again for future irrigation work.

Miguel es tu hombre! He solved a vexing sprinkler problem we've had for a couple years - too many sprinklers in a single zone resulting in low pressure and inadequate H2O coverage - dead spots. Instead of breaking the zone into 2, he simply changed the heads to low H2O consumption which increased the pressure and coverage. He and his crew are professional and courteous. Give him a call.

I've gotta hand it to Miguel and his team - they did a great job fixing up my Grandma's ailing sprinkler system. (And dealing with her cantankerousness!)

Grandma's sprinkler system is OLD. Like 20 years old. Maybe 30. No one knows how to reset the system, the sprinklers go off when they want to and the ones in the backyard were like a fire hose just spewing water everywhere. Yet she insists she DOES NOT WANT OR NEED A NEW SYSTEM. (Sigh).

Compounding the situation, Grandma's BFF next door recently passed away and Grandma admitted that she had her sprinkler system redone decades ago to water that yard as well - because it wasn't green enough. (CRINGE. We're talking like 50+ Years!!!). Lawd knows we don't have extra $$$ around to just pay a ginormous water bill to keep the neighborhood looking like Ireland. (It's San Diego for chrissakes! Just get some succulents and call it a day!)

Anyway, I had to find someone who could fix the possessed sprinklers, shut off the sprinklers that were giving the neighbor's house free water and deal with Grandma. I trusted Yelp as usual and found Miguel.

Miguel was friendly, polite and brought a couple of helpers over to finish the work. It was affordable, completed in less than 2 hours and Grandma was really happy. Miguel got the old system working right - and Grandma's water bill has gone down a lot! (Though the neighbor's yard is really brown. Sorry/Not Sorry!)

Had a pipe break on the main leading to the sprinklers. Miguel & his crew were able to get here promptly & not only fixed the broken line on the main, but also discovered a second broken pipe in the system, and fixed that, too. Would definitely call them again.
