I called to have a hose bib moved from the back of the house to the side about 10 foot. I also told them I wanted a rebuild kit installed which I had already bought. When the person showed he said they will not install rebuild kits but would sell me a new faucet. Since I was unable to proceed with the new deck until the faucet was moved, so I agreed, ( I came to find out this was a lie, and was told they preferrer to install the rebuild kits). He had to shut off the water from the well since there was no shut off for the hose bib, I the process of doing this the and main line from our well was broken. He finished moving the faucet and said he would see if he could fix the broken pipe, after screwing around for 45 minutes he said we would have to find someone else to repair it since ""we do not do this kind of work"". I asked if he dressed up the water line in the crawl space so it would not freeze this winter and he said oh, NO we don't do that and I was on my problem. I called Black Hills Excavating since that is who they recommended and they could come down anytime soon but told me to try another company and they told me to try someone else. We went for four days with out water because of what Midwestern Mech did. On the fourth day Black Hills exc. offered to come and see what was happening, as soon as he saw what was going on he got mad and said Midwestern should have fixed it on the spot and the HE was going to call them and make a stink. The next day they sent the same person down to do the work that he said, ""we don't do that"". When he stated working, he did not even have the correct parts and had to wait for over half an hour to have the parts brought to him. When he left, we finally had water, but it was fluctuating in pressure. I called Midwestern and told them we were still not working correctly and to send someone else out to fix the problem. He showed up the next day and said now our pressure switch is bad, and he did not have the right part either. The following afternoon he installed the switch, and it seemed better but not quite right. I called and this is not right, so he came back out a day or so later and said that it is not the pressure switch now we needed a new well pump and left. I got ahold of Farmers Supply and they came out the very next day and with in 5 minutes he said your pressure tank was bad and to prove it he pressed the pressure valve in top of the tank and it squirted water out. It cost another 1500.00 on top of what we had to pay for all the other work. In the end after us raising a stink they forgave about 1/2 the bill, but I would never call them for anything. Days with out water and being lied to twice is not a way to run a business.
