I completely disagree with other reviews. My experience was great. They were punctual and very clean. Compared to other quotes they were on the lower end. I have had bad experiences with franchise plumbing companies that left my bathroom/walkway a mess and on top of that charged me an arm and a leg. I like supporting small, local businesses and although they weren't perfect, they were much better than previous plumbers.

We are so happy to have had Neil and his team rough-in plumbing for a new basement bathroom. They pulled permits for us, provided quick turn around and were there on the day of inspection. Very professional and high quality service. We will definitely use Midwest plumbing in the future!

Wow, I wish I'd read these reviews before trying to work with this company. I had a bad feeling from the start but we really needed a plumber to come out - unreturned calls, misinformation, dropped texts, generally a high state of confusion. The absolutely worst - and unforgiveable thing - was that they quoted me one price in writing ($85/hour) and then another jacked-up price upon arrival (($150 just to show up! plus billing for a minimum of 2 hours even tho the job was less than 1). Crazy! i showed them my written quote and they refused to honor it!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Other issues - they said they'd arrive at 7am, didn't get there until after 8 even though we were the first visit of the day. On top of that, they were rude and blamed me when I called them out on being late and for not honoring their quoted price. What a mistake to go with them. After the quote snafu and blaming I couldn't even trust their work so asked them to leave. Probably a good thing given the quality issues raised by the other reviews.

I 100% agree with the other review on here. This company is horrible and I would suggest looking elsewhere. They gave me a window of arrival time between 12:00pm - 4:00pm. After not hearing from anyone all day I called Best Buy, since that's where I purchased the appliance from. At 4:10pm, I got a phone call from an automated machine saying someone will be arriving within 40 minutes. The installer arrives at 4:45pm and comes up to check out my water valves. Once he opened the cabinet he said ""Oh, you actually have this up to date,"" then continued to say ""I didn't think I would actually need to install this today."" The installer seemed a little disappointed that he would need to stay and actually install a dishwasher that I pre-scheduled a month and a half ago. After he started the process he said ""I'll try to hurry and get out of here as soon as possible."" I would have liked if he actually acknowledged the fact that he was 45 minutes late and apologized, and for not calling ahead of time to let me know he was running late. Also, it would have been nice if he hadn't been so anxious to get out of my place and get home. Next time, be on time and you won't have to rush...

Two weeks and multiple phone calls later, the electrician still hasn't come out to my house to finish the hardwiring for my dishwasher. I made multiple appointments and this company hasn't made one phone call or showed up when the told me they would.

The electrician showed up a couple of days later, after making my third appointment. He was polite and did a good job. He was probably the best part of working with this company. At least he had adequate customer service.

In this day and age, the competition is fierce and companies need to earn and retain customers, or at least they should if they want to continue to stay in business.

I trusted this company earlier this year to fix a bathtub leak. They were not cheap - but I thought if it was fixed- fine. The leak is still happening and now reveals damage to the ceiling. It was not inspected thoroughly... they did the cheapest, quickest fix...

I called them today - to tell them its still leaking - and he said they cant come back for two weeks. I told him it was damaging the ceiling and dripping on the bed... he said that two weeks was the best he could do.

Think twice before you call - they don't care for ongoing business - or - warrantying their work in a timely manner. BEWARE!
