The business owner I believe named Joel Ulmer. He was send by Select Home Warranty to fix my leaking kitchen faucet. When he came, he pointed out there were multiple leaking (now I realize he just try to make more money out of my pocket). He asked me if there is a basement. I showed him the basement, which he saw an aging stain on ceiling (where I was stupid to trust him that strain was because of the recent leaking). He said the home warranty doesn't cover it because the leaking in basement was due to bad insulation. The job is $1800 and he is willing to take $1000 to fix it. It was Dec.23, I admit I was desperate to get it done before Xmas. I gave him $500 deposit so he can come on Xmas eve. I should have done my research and homework before I made the deposit. The check was made to his son Daniel Ulmer, whom he brought along. One hour later when my husband got home and found out it was not leaking, I called him to cancel the job and request refund. It's been over 5 weeks and he still didn't refund me the check. Stay away from this company!!! I find someone had similar review as I have, who also leave review on yelp.com.
