Had a bad experience with wet carpet in my basement and no knowledge of what was going on . Midwest came out and identified the problem as a problem with my floor drain. Very reasonable and the gentleman that fixed the problem was very pleasant and helpful. Will use again in the future.

It's never good when a drain backs up, especially in the basement. It's always good to call experts who know about these things and can tell you it not as bad as you think. Midwest Plumbing and Drain came out the next day after I called them to check out my brother's basement drain. Turns out the problem was actually the kitchen sink which somehow got a towel stuck way down in there. This is how an expert helps in this situation. They know the anatomy of plumbing pipes and figured it wasn't the floor drain at all. So when your plumbing's hurtin' call Midwest Plumbing and Drain.

Bob and Dalton did a great job for me. I've had slow drains for a long time but this week I'd finally had enough. I was planning on replacing my 60+ year old piping but they said, ""Let's see if we can clean 'em out first."" They got them all clean and running in a little over an hour. They replaced one rusted out trap. The rest were fine. I'll call them first the next time I need a plumber.

After a long week and a hard time with a competitor, Midwest came in to save the day. When I wasn't allowed to really use much in my house, they had me fixed up in no time as well as made several recommendations for the future. I'd call Rich anytime that I needed a plumber.

It was ""the hardest 15 feet I ever had to get through"" was the comment from our serviceman. Both guys did a superb job at a very reasonable price. They cleaned out a very old (under the basement floor) pipe that was almost completely blocked. They were recommended to me by my plumber (Apollo) and I would recommended them to anyone.

Used in the past but disappointed with slow call back or no call back. I hope business is good! I know it's hard for small businesses to handle administrative issues, but I am disappointed this time. Unfortunately I won't contact them again.

Caused thousands of dollars in damage and took no responsibility. Long story short: Clogged drain in the basement, he sent an inexperienced apprentice to work alone. The apprentice used the wrong size power auger and literally shredded the drain pipe into tiny pieces, then presented a bill and did not mention that the pipe had been destroyed. It didn't take long after he left for the damage to be discovered, as the only thing channeling the water away at that point was a hole in the dirt. The repairs required tearing up the finished basement floor and wall. Besides the plumbing, which had to be repaired by a different (competent) plumber, he created the need concrete, drywall and paint repair, and several days off work to meet with all the different repair people that were now required. (Also, as Reid R. mentioned, greasy fingerprints on walls far removed from the repair site.) He tried to blame the plumbing, which was new Schedule 40 PVC and up to code, which had been installed by a licensed plumber. Took no responsibility, ducked phone calls and walked away from it all. To be avoided at all costs.

First of all out of all the reviews I have given, I have to say it brings me the most joy to write this one and give this business a 5 star review. I bought my old craftsman house in south Omaha seven years ago. I love old houses and think they have character, unfortunately they usually have problems here and there. Unbeknownst to me, my upstairs bathroom has very old all lead plumbing and a drum trap. What is even worse this bathroom sits right over my kitchen. I first began having problems with it about two months ago, when I turned on the sink sewage would back into my tub. I had two other plumbing companies come out. Both said they would not clean it out for fear of breaking the lead. My husband took down a wall...revealing... lol.. not much. I showered downstairs for a month in a half. I didn't give up though. After about a month and a week, I was cleaning out all my lotions, shampoos and potions from under the sink and found the drum trap. I called red d plumbing and David referred me to RIch at Midwest plumbing. I called and asked him to come out himself and clean it and he agreed. He came yesterday, got right to work, opened it, cleaned out the drum trap, retrieving a big hair ball and my drain worked for the first time in a month and a half. Hallelujah;) He was professional, answered all my questions, explained everything to me, and even wiped down where the sewage had flung...lol.. I highly recommend this business and Rich himself. This man is a professional and I will definitely use him for all my drain needs in the future. Thank you so much Rich for clearing my drain;) I'm ecstatic.

No one wants a sewage back up, but I must say that these guys made it a pleasant experience. They came very quickly, unclogged my sewage back up, cleaned up the raw sewage in my home, as well as asked for a toilet brush to give a final clean to the guilty toilet. And all with a big smile and a great attitude! I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you to Frank for the great service and even better attitude!

Really happy with the work. They went to Lincoln for me to fix a problem. What I thought was the issue wasn't quite the problem so it cost less to fix than I thought. They found a problem with the toilet as well as the drain issue I was having. They fixed the toilet too which should fix my water bill issue. It was reasonably priced. The fellow left everything clean and in order, was quiet and polite. Would use them again.
