They called a day ahead with schedulng reminder, then a couple hours before the scheduled time. Chris was prompt, courteous, took the time to explain what he found (tree roots in my main line in multiple areas). He also took the extra time to answer a variety of questions I had for preventive maintenance and causes of the issue. Price was very competitive. I highly recommend Midway!

Ron got to our house little later than original scheduled time because he was busy at other appointments, but once he got in he took care the problem within 15 min and done with it. I tried to fix the sink clog problem and waited too long to call the Midway Sewer Service. I'll definitely call them again with any plumbing issues in the future. Worked done in North St Paul, MN

I previously used them a few years back by the recommendation of my neighbor, who is a also a plumber but doesn't work the type of job that I needed done to my drain. My pipes are old and needs to be clean every so often. So when I saw a little water backing up again on my basement floor drain, I completely forgot who I used. Went online and saw a familiar name and figured that was the company I used before. It turned be a franchise company that is extremely expensive and tried to scam me by saying my line might be broken and that another tech will need look at it to confirm that I'll need new pipes. I should have listened to my intuition from the very first call I made to this company, even the call was a complete different experience from what I remembered.

So I dig into to my records from years before and saw that it was Midway Sewer I used last time. Ron came to look at my drain and was awesome. He was warm and personable, completely different from the dude who tried to rip me off. Ron ran the line no problem ALL THE WAY through the pipe whereas the other guy said the line couldn't move any further than a few feet due to a block caused by the ""broken"" pipe. The job with Midway Sewer costed SIGNIFICANTLY lower. So SO much less!!! And they got the job.

As of today, this locally owned company does not have a lot of reviews on here (but those that are, are all rated 5 stars), so if quantity is what you're looking for and you decide to go with another company, here's an advice, if they won't disclose the price of the job, go with Midway Sewer Service Company of St Paul. If not Midway Sewer Service Company of St Paul, avoid the franchise and go with the locally owned companies who knows that reputation for honest work matters in our community.

i called early Wednesday morning to see about having someone come out to help with a backed up drain. Hoping for an evening or Saturday appointment. Never heard back. Called back around noon. Was asked by the gal there ""didn't you get my message"" thought she had called my house after I have asked to be called at work. They don't do evening or weekend work. As I work in Eagan and live in St Paul she told me they would give me a half hours notice so I could make it home before they got there during the work day. She told me she would give my name and number to one of the guys who lives in Eagan and takes a truck home. She would have him call me after 6. No phone call that evening and no message on my answering machine or number in the phone log on the phone for the message she said she left. Called again on Thursday to check to make sure she had the correct phone number to call. She told he had not given my phone number to the guy yet. They message says if an evening call and an emergency to leave that on your message. Don't bother. Didn't know she would not bother to have anyone call me about possibly doing an evening job. Not sure I would have been able to work out a time either early day or late day was never given the opportunity. Only told I was perfectly able to leave work at a moments notice to hurry 12 miles home at any time they feel like. Would not recommend to anyone. Sad I wanted to work with a small local business and was recommended to me by my sister. Good thing she works from home.

Recommended as a ""before we dig up your yard"" after another company failed to clear the lateral to the street in THREE attempts, Midway came out and cleared it in one shot. No $15K yard dig necessary. Nice people, too! Call these guys FIRST.

Called on Sunday evening to leave a message regarding main sewer line blockage. Received a call back about two minutes later (which I totally did not expect on a Sunday night!) and scheduled appointment for Monday. Gary came out and cleaned out the line, explained the cause of the problem (tree roots), and what needed to be done in the future. He was very personable and easy to talk to. The price was extremely fair; less than I expected. Thank you for your timely and friendly service, and thank you for an excellent job! We will absolutely be calling you again!

Recommended to me from a friend with a business in St. Paul I decided to give them a try. I had attempted snaking the drain with a huge commercial grade rental and had no luck. I then hired one of the ""big names"" and the drain worked for less than a week-bummer. I then got these guys in ""Scott"" was our technician. He was super patient, talented and skilled. He got it clean and working. Would recommend to anyone.
