I called and made an apt to get a quote, they do not give a window of time for apts. They say we will call you 45 minutes before your tech arrives. I got a call at 7:41 AM! Not expecting them to call that early, I did not have my phone near me so I did not get it in time to answer. I called them right back and was told that they have already scheduled that tech to another apt. How do you not give a window of time for an apt or for a client to call back before moving on. This IS a very bad way to do business. Thankfully there are many GOOD companies out there and I called one of them.

I called to have an estimate to have a generator transfer switch, and 50 amp connection installed on my house. They gave me a full day window appointment for March 16th 2023, with the technician calling me about an hour before he would arrive. No one showed up! Not sure what makes you think that my time is less valuable than yours! Your services will NOT be needed by me, EVER! I only give you one star because it's required!

rip off artists. they will send a salesman out with the tech . Sounds smart , but a very sleazy move. they lost me as a customer on that day . They quoted me $1400 for a blower motor . I got the same work done for $400 and Tipped the tech $100 . Freon was added for $150. glad i got a second opinion.

plumber came to my house, he was very nice but Unfortunately this company believes in price gouging. I was told that it was almost $400 to install a vanity faucet. It makes me sad that this is happening to people especially on fixed incomes. Clearly I did not agree and I informed the plumber that I am good conscience cannot pay my plumber more than my lawyer sorry!

Midway installed a new HVAC 4 years ago. Yesterday the fan was running on when the unit was off. Parts were under warranty buy I was charged $600 to replace the part that only took 2 hours. My math tells me that $300 an hour. The worker told me they don't have an hourly rate to replace warranty parts it's a flat fee. That's a ridiculous amount of money for a free part. But they do nice work.

I entered into their advantage program with a water softener. At the time, it seemed like a good deal. Pay monthly, have 10 years of service. Unfortunately, things in life changed and I was divorced. To have the softener installed without the contract was $2300. I attempted to cancel the contract after less than 1 year, and now they want over $4000! They say there is an """"early termination fee"""" which amounts to $2000. Tried to negotiate and state that I would pay the $2300 - which covers the services that they provided. They declined. Even the person I talked to said """"I understand what you are saying"""". Clearly, this company has a culture of preying on the elderly. Would definitely stay away from them at all costs. Next stop, BBB and litigation.

Very disappointed in Midway's service. We have a AC unit, split system that was originally installed 6 years ago. Right from the start, it had a leak from a faulty installation. Through the years we have tried to get it fixed but the same leak keeps popping up. This time when we called, the dispatcher said we would have to pay for someone to look at it. She wasn't willing to take the history of this unit into consideration. And we have had major work done with them. Central air system, multiple split units, electrical work, water filtration system, and much more. They lost a customer who spent tens of thousands of dollars over a $69 service call. They are very responsive when it comes to getting business but not helpful when long term repairs (due to their own mistakes). Go somewhere else!

One of my mini splits was no longer working. - I called 08.02.22 and set an appointment for someone to come out 08.03.22. - Tech came out on 08.03.22 and said that he needed to look up some parts for repair and left. - 08.10.22 I called back for a status update and was told that they were still looking for parts and pricing. - 08.19.22 I called back asking what date was a tech to come out to fix my A/C unit. It was not until THIS DAY that they want to relay to me that they don't service my brand of mini split. They had me wait 3 weeks (August mind you) to tell me they couldn't help me when they new this up front and chose not to tell me. I then ask to at least tell what parts are needed to or what is the problem with the unit. They left a voicemail stating that they couldn't tell me. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

Called and made an appointment 2 weeks prior. Day of appointment called and confirmed yes it's today by 5 pm. 5 pm comes no one came. Called and spoke to the rudest person who then transferred me to an even more rude manager. She basically said get over it nothing we can do about it. No record of my appointment on file. Even though it was confirmed that morning. Never going back they couldn't even offer a discount on services after wasting my entire day waiting. Terrible customer service

I used Midway for hvac, plumbing and electrical for 5 years. I knew their prices were higher but was willing to pay it because i was happy with their service and liked having 1 company for all service needs. Never again. AC stopped blowing recently, the technician inspected the unit and advised me that a fan had stopped working which had caused multiple additional problems that couldn't even be addressed or priced until the fan was replaced, which would take at least 7 days due to supply chain shortages. The sales rep arrived 15 minutes later to sell me a new hvac system that could be installed within 2 days. The contract was a lease which i didn't know until the docs were emailed to me later that evening. $300.00 a month for 10 years. No ownership until after 10 years at which time it would be 25 percent of the original selling price of 21,000. After reading the terms and conditions i cancelled the contract (you can only cancel within 3 days of signing ). I called a competitor. Within 2 hours the competitor fixed the fan and my house was 72 degrees within 3 hours. During discussions regarding the new AC many misrepresentations were made by the company. Beware.
