Although we are sad someone left a 1* rating, we are Not sure how Previous claim about backflow being delayed would have happened . All reports are send in after payment is made. They would only be delayed if a payment had not yet been received. We have never charged 50.00, so unless there was a 5.00 service fee for non payment there would be no 50.00 billing. We have no idea who this customer was as no name was attracted to complaint, but if we did anything incorrectly we absolutely apologize .
We have Professional and prompt services at great prices . We are in no way perfect but We teally do try hard to keep all our customers happy and keep our prices and services affordable

Called Midway for back-flow prevention testing at my house. Scheduled the time and verified the price on the phone ($45). I never saw them come do the test, so I called to verify that they had done so. They confirmed, but then the local municipal government sent me two consecutive letters saying that the test had NOT been done, and that I might be subject to penalty if the testing deadline was not met. So I called Midway back and informed them of the situation. This time the secretary said that the test had not been done after all. ""Oops."" I expressed my frustration and then they came out and finally did the test. Unacceptable for me to hold their hands and hound them to do their job. And THEN, wait for it, the bill was for $50 instead of the agreed upon $45. At this point I had lost all patience and told them I would not pay one single cent beyond the $45 we previously agreed to. They never took ownership of their unprofessional shenanigans but said that they would honor the $45 fee even if I was ""confused"" about it. What a bunch of idiots. Unacceptable. Avoid Midway Plumbing.
