Not a great experience at all. Work was very slow as if the were drawing out the work time to make more money. Paid for 1 crew to caulk before wood replaced then clean up there mistake. 3 day job took 6 days and wasn't totally complete. Do not use

I reached out through the service request feature and received a handful of responses. We wanted to be sure the service requested would be covered under Yelp's guarantee. We were looking to have an increasingly-leaky tub hot water faucet repaired. The first people who came out were 5-star recommended. The guy was overly sales-focused and quoted us anywhere from $1,200 to $8,000 (!!!!!!) to repair/replace this faucet and a myriad of add ons we needed due to hard water and high pressure. FYI, we contacted a friend at the city water department who said our home did not need either of those things based on the pressures/hardness given.

In sticker shock, we moved on to Midtown Tulsa Handyman and Plumbing and they came out swinging! That same day, late in the afternoon, Ted sent a couple of his guys out to evaluate the situation. They had a truck breakdown, but they ended up having one guy stay with the truck for service and the other guy WALKED from the breakdown to our house so he could complete the estimate for us!! He WALKED TO OUR HOUSE to not let us or his employer down. They had pretty immediate availability, so we actually had him look at our main shower which also was leaking, but into the wall. He looked at both and said he'd get us an estimate ASAP. We agreed to their estimate and they got to work.

They sent a team of 2 to us. They had my husband go with them to Home Depot to purchase the parts (no up charge) and completed work on both faucets in less time than quoted. I don't want to go into too many financial details, each situation is different and may cost more, but we were blown away by how quickly, efficiently, wholly and inexpensively they were able to repair two faucets we thought were going to require full bathroom remodels. We live in a 70-year-old home with all original tile and they were able to completely do this work from the front, preserving our tile and resolving the leaks.

Now, we have a list we are working on with them to have several minor jobs done so we can do a refi with the new rates going down. I am so glad we've finally found a reliable, honest, HARD-WORKING crew who are fair in pricing and humble in nature.

We've had many bad interactions with handymen over the years. A lot of bidding and then not following up to actually do that job. It's kept us from making certain repairs, not wanting to deal with the hassle of finding someone. If going with your plumber to buy your own parts throws you off, I'm sure they'd be happy to up-charge, but we are more than happy to work with Ted and his guys from now on! We have our handymen and plumbers now!
