I've used them several times and they provide great, courteous, fast service. I also have found their pricing very fair. I highly recommend them.

Thats not how it happened. You were very rude and your husband called yelling at me. I told him I was filing a complaint immediately with the BBB and then I was refunded. You have a D+ on the BBB.

They were at my house for MAYBE 15 minutes. Did a simple re-route on a dishwasher drain hose and charged us $197.00. Outrageous! So much for their senior citizen and Veteran friendly service. If you plan to have them do anything make sure you get a quote first!

A word of caution. Lock down the quoted price. I mean really, really lock it down and don't settle for any inflation. Also, if you are due a senior discount you won't get the full amount unless it is discussed up front,(gives them a chance to increase the quote to cover the discount?) I know, I know, you should not have to request it but if you don't you will not get it and then probably not for the full amount.

The work performed was very good. Unfortunately the way the billing was handled assures me I would never hire them again.

I called Midlothian Plumbing to get a quote to reattach the hot water feed line in the shower. It had developed a leak and my property manager sent over her plumber who broke through the tile found the leak and capped it off. I wanted 3 quotes and midlothian plumbing was #3. The guy they sent out said I needed a new shower valve, I needed to demo the entire shower wall and replace all the copper both hot and cold up to the shower head. He quoted me approximately $1500 over the phone. I thought..."ok, that ain't happening". I have about 18 inches of pipe to replace and then retile. I don't want to rebuild my entire shower. About 3 days later I get a bill for an $89 service charge. I call thinking it's a mistake because the guy didn't do anything except look at the work the previous plumber accomplished. I was wrong. Tommy the "master" plumber explained that plumbers are like doctors and since doctors charge for diagnoses, so plumbers should do likewise. I explained to Tommy that he wasn't a doctor and I don't pay for work that isn't performed. After our conversation, I followed up with a complaint to the Texas licensing board. Nevertheless, they felt it necessary to still send a bill after our conversation. I hope they take me to court and try to make a case for payment for an estimate that they didn't provide, and for work they didn't perform. Actually they provide an estimate, but not for what I asked for.

I have had a very poor experience with Midlothian plumbing and will never use them again! I called them on Thursday last week and they
set me up, at my request for a time, on Friday afternoon which was all the time I had. I needed a plumber quick as we had family and friends coming to stay with us for the Holidays and both of our showers and tubs were leaking water into the ceiling of the floor underneath them! The two gentlemen who came out were obviously from the outset not interested in fixing anything that was going to interfere with their Friday night plans. They came in to the house looked at the problems declared that it was going to cost $1,100 to fix the tub and I needed to get the demolition and tile work done. They also tore up the drywall in the ceiling under the other shower and said that the shower pan was defective. (This could amount to 2 to 3 thousand dollars worth of work) They also looked at a faucet I was having trouble with and said that they did not have the part to fix it, then gave me a bill for $187.50 cents and left ....having fixed nothing, but well on their way to an early Friday night. I of course am sick to my stomach over how I was going to pay for all this plumbing trouble with family and holiday expenses literally days away!
I decided, after sleeping on the problem, that I needed to confirm their diagnosis. They were completely wrong! Another plumber came out and the tub needed a $17.00 dollar drain and the shower had a screw that pierced the drain line. $200.00 dollars later everything is working fine, although I had to do some of the work myself, and I am not a plumber.
I now have family staying over, I have not spent $3,000 to $4,000 as Midlothian Plumbing suggested, and can now afford some Christmas.

When I asked for my $187.50 back due to their incompetence, from their boss Tommy I was told they are "very professional" and if they take any tool off of the truck it will always cost $187.50 if they do the job or not.
My recommendation is to stay away unless you just won the lottery.
