I had a coil replaced on a rental property with Russell and LeMay. The service man was supposed to be there on a Friday. I live out of state and my renter stayed home for the service. They did not show up nor did they call me. I made several calls that weekend until I finally got a hold of someone Monday morning. They explained they got busy and didn't make it out but never bothered to call or even say they were sorry for the inconvenience. I got the coil replaced and paid over the phone as I am out of state. I received a bill for the initial service call two months later for $100 even though I informed them exactly what was wrong as I had the house inspected because I was selling it. I was told I had to pay 100 for them to make sure it was the coil. That wasn't the issue though. For some reason they did not put this on my bill when I paid for the coil to be replaced. I had to make 7 phone calls and was told 7 times I would be called back when I was trying to figure out what the $100 bill was for. After explaining my situation I wasn't even given an apology. I was demanded a card number instead. I had to call them 7 times to pay them money. How does that make sense? Don't companies want your money? It was absolutely terrible and I never recommend this company. Also, the woman who answers the phone one the weekends is very very rude and refuses to help or even answer a question if it is not an emergency. Take your business elsewhere!

Have used for 30 years, in my Heights homes on Stonewall and later S. Country Club and today @ PV residence. As a young single parent, they worked with me to take care of big ticket items and made sure my girls and I were taken care of. My 75 gallon hot water heater went out and I ran out of hot water last night. Looking forward to filling my soaker tub tonight!!
Best story was when archery practice in the backyard took out the sprinkler main with a gusher 15 feet in the air just as it was getting dark. The cut-off valve was under manhold cover I couldn't budge. Wasn't funny then. We laugh about it now.

I've used this company several times, but their service is currently near the bottom. Recently had them look at an AC unit at a rental property. They informed my renter that the unit appeared to be working fine and left. Two days later, the renter informed me that the AC/heat were still not working. I called the company back and they scheduled another visit for 5 days later. When I checked with my renter after 6 days, he said nobody had called or been by that he was aware of. When I called the office back, I got a story about one of their guys who takes orders had been off work due to an illness and that they must have lost the order. I asked them to come back out and was told it would be another week before anyone could come out. After this, I called another Heat/AC place to see if they could get there sooner, and they were able to get there in 2 days and fix the issue.
Now Russell and Lemay has charged me more to do nothing than the company that actually fixed the problem. I explained all the issues that I had with the way they treated me and they still want me to pay this bill, so I told them that I would pay it, had no problem paying it, as long as they didn't mind losing me as a customer. They chose to lose me as a customer...
