I called John to work on the gate valve in my front yard in Sunnyvale. We set a date and time, he was right on time, and got the job done perfectly...problem fixed! This guy came out quickly on a Saturday which was great. He needed to fix a leak and a clog. Right after he left, I realized the sink was still clogged. He came out again and tried, very unsuccessfully to fix it........

Right at this moment, I have another plumber at my sink redoing his ENTIRE job. Once this new guy was able to unclog the sink and turn the water back on, he noticed a leak underneath. Midas didn't even fix that properly. What a joke - thanks Midas, not only did I have to pay two plumbers but I haven't been able to do my dishes in 9 days. Awesome.

Our toilet got clogged badly as the main drain got clogged. I found John though his excellent yelp review. And I am very glad that I called him. Problem is solved now with reasonable price :) I will surely contact John if I need his help in the future.

Another plumbing issue resolved! John came by to install a new garbage disposal after the one we had crapped out on us. It was quick, painless and reasonably priced. After the installation, he gave me a few pointers on how to address common garbage disposal problems in case we encounter any of those in the future.

Definitely 5-star plumber n this area. My Kenmore economiser 6 losts pilot from time to time after 11 years. There is intermittent hot water. After contacting 2 plumbers, one was bed sick and the other never responded, I left a text message for midas plumbing around 11pm. John called around 2pm in the afternoon and showed up 30 minutes later and replaced the thermocouple within 30 minutes. John is very professional and reasonable in fee. I highly recommend him.

Is there a such thing as a plumber that is honest, reasonably priced, shows on time?? Yes there is!!!
John came to fix our terribly clogged shower. Explained to us what went wrong and what not to do in the future. The next time I called him to fix some pipes, he was honest to tell me what he currently doesn't have the necessary tools to fix them. Then he gave me advice how to shop for plumbers so I don't end up spending $$$.

Midas Plumbing will now be our one and only plumber for now on!!

Needed kitchen drainage lines cleared. Called Midas, left voice mail message (on a Saturday) and was promptly called back and appointment time estimated. John arrived a few minutes earlier than promised, diagnosed and resolved the problem within 20-minutes time. Provided tips to us on how to mitigate future clogs in our system. His service and personal demeanor was top notch. He warrantied his work for 30-days!! Hello, who does that in the world of plumbing?? Price: reasonable.

After reading the Yelp reviews we contacted Midas plumbing to get our hot water heater fixed and John indeed had the ""Midas touch"". We are very busy and have a tight schedule. John accommodated this by coming to our house at 9PM to make sure we had hot water. He was very informative and explained all of our options in exquisite detail and efficiently solved the problem. I would recommend him and will use him for my future plumbing needs.

Perhaps if John himself came out to do the work, our toilet would function properly now. Instead he advised his employee to come out. Despite our subsequent to complaints to John himself, we are left with a dysfunctional toilet that does not flush sporadically. When it does, we often must keep the handle depressed for a long time before it works. John said this a ""hard water issue""???!! Are you kidding me??? I will gladly delete this post and re-post a positive review if John were to reconsider his analysis and MAKE IT RIGHT (please!).
