Mid Atlantic Water Services
Company Overview
We concentrate on the sales and service of water purification services in residential and commercial applications, and we additionally design, install, and maintain lawn irrigation systems.
Andy Beyerlein, who leads Mid Atlantic Water Services, dedicated a significant period with a leading water treatment company leading up to launching Mid Atlantic Water Services in 1989. A water conditioning manufacturer from Ohio approached him to promote their line of water purification products, and this led to the growth of his business. Our mission at Mid Atlantic is to provide top-notch service to every customer along with superior water treatment systems. Our dedication motivates us to monitor the latest trends within the water sector and assess the systems firsthand before providing them to our clients.
We are a family-owned operation started in 1989 by Andy and Pam Beyerlein. As time has passed, we have developed and shown our capability to address any challenge with water in the area.

We called Mid Atlantic to service a leaky Rinnai water heater that was still under warranty. Sam (customer service point person) and Edgar (plumber) were initially great! Edgar made the diagnosis. At this point we asked Edgar to call the Rinnai customer service number and relay the needed part so they would ship it (this is per Rinnai's warranty policy which I obtained prior to Edgar coming) . Edgar said he wasn't willing to make the call (At $140 per hour Edgar could have billed us for his time during the call) . We then called Sam and she said the same thing! No one at Mid Atlantic would call Rinnai for the part. After back and forth with Rinnai they agreed to allow us, the homeowner, to send photos/ video call of the issue to have the part verified and sent to the plumber for repair. All the plumber had to do now was call Rinnai to verify their license # and address for the part. Still, no dice! So, we had to call another plumber. We are out $192 we paid to Mid-Atlantic for the initial visit and diagnosis. The real kicker- Mid-Atlantic is listed with Rinnai as a ""Rinnai PRO"" meaning they have been trained to install, repair, and sell Rinnai products!!! So, if you call Rinnai they will give you Mid-Atlantic's information to use for repair, even though Mid-Atlantic won't take the necessary steps to utilize the warranty!!
Elaine F.We had not been maintaining our water treatment system diligently enough, and it was probably the original equipment in our nearly 20 year old house. So we needed a replacement pump and the head unit that controls the tank. We called MidAtlantic out to diagnose our issues. Then we called another well rated local water service contractor to get a second estimate. The second place was more high pressure in the sales pitch, but they seemed shorter on the details of the nuts and bolts of the system. So we had Mid Atlantic do our replacement. The technician, David C., could not have been more professional. Their schedulers are efficient and they send reminders by text and email. Their price was very competitive and they did not try to sell us things we did not want or need.
Steve S.Thee guys were great! They showed up when they said they would and explained everything in detail. Technician Wayne Hensley really knows his stuff and is clear in his explanations.
Great clean organized work.
I ordered and paid for Calcite from Mid Atlantic on January 19, 2019, then forced to call 5-6 times and was promised delivery, delivery of double my order, delivery with a full refund, but as of today, June 29, I can't even reach anyone to address the problem.
The WORST service I have ever had with a company! We ordered a filtration system February 25th. It was supposed to arrive within 2-4 weeks. I called every week after 4 weeks and got every excuse possible and lie after lie, they would change their answer every time I questioned something. They eventually stopped answering my calls, I blocked my number and they answered and sent a bogus email saying it was getting ready to ship, a week later still no tracking information. I called back and they said they didn't even know what step my order was in but was assured they would resolve it quickly. Another week went by and nothing so I decided to ask for a refund after waiting 3 months. I was told that my refund would be issued that day and would be in my account in 3-5 days. I didn't receive an auto email saying it had been done so i called 8+ times to get an answer and said they could only do it on the weekends as no one is in the store during the week. Saturday came and still nothing, called 5 times and no answer, after my 5th call i finally received the auto email, so it was obvious they were ignoring my call. Not to mention, I ordered from a different company the day that I asked for my refund and I received that system and had it installed before i was even issued my refund! horrible experience!
Timothy G.I'm waiting for warranty parts, months without a working water softener. I purchased a whole house water filter and water softener for our vacation home. The whole house filter works fine no problems, the water softener stopped working in December 2017, it is now April 13, 2018 and I still don't have a working water softener. They Mid Atlantic and Pentair are in no hurry to get working replacement parts to me for the softener to get it working. As of December when the softener stopped working there was only about four months of use on whole house filter and the water softener which were installed by a professional plumber. Be aware the warranty is not worth a darn if they don't stand behind it.
Order water filter unit the....Fleck Valve........ LEAKS through drain line.
Mid Atlantic said they would contact FLECK No reply over 1 month and 3 emails
NEVER BUY from this company expecting any warranty support
We used Mid-Atlantic to install our irrigation system two years ago and just yesterday they serviced our water treatment system. Got us back in service the same day I called. Awesome service! Jason and Dave are the best! Very knowledgeable and fair pricing. The key difference is Mid-Atlantic stock parts where other smaller water treatment company's do not.
We couldn't be happier with the Irrigation system they installed. They designed a system that works flawlessly on our well. We have 4 zones that use treated water. So no iron stains on our sidewalks around the pool. And the other 11 zones use untreated water where it doesn't matter. Works great!!
Great company great folks!!
Adrian E.Shout out to Mid-Atlantic. Called them for a second opinion on our water treatment system after company #1 gave us sticker shock on replacing our treatment system and company #2 was a no-show and didn't return our calls. We had originally given company #1 a shot after they'd done a decent job on installing a new pressure tank for our well system. Mid-Atlantic sent someone out less than an hour after I called them. After checking our situation out, he agreed with the original assessment but quoted us a new system at 25% less than company #1. Mid-Atlantic came back the very next day and did all the work in a quiet, respectful and professional manner, then gave me a thorough overview of the system. They also highlighted some problems that company #1 should have noticed when they put in the pressure tank. They also checked their prices and pointed out that company #1 had over-charged us by hundreds of dollars on the water pressure tank. Needless to say I'm sticking with Mid-Atlantic moving forward. Thanks!
The technicians do excellent work. They are knowledgeable, but communication is poor.
I made an appointment to have a filter changed and salt delivered and was told that if I needed to leave the house, but left access open, the tech would go in and do the work. I waited for him all morning and part of the afternoon, but needed to run a quick errand, so I left the garage door open. The technician came while I was gone, but left since I didn't answer the door. I received no phone call either that he was on his way or had missed me, so I assumed the technician didn't come. I called a week or so later and was told he had come and left, so I made a new appointment. I was told ""tomorrow"" (Wednesday)on the phone, but the appointment was apparently made for Thursday. I stayed home Wednesday waiting for him to arrive. When I called Thursday, I was told, ""Your appointment is for today."" Another wasted day waiting.
