Andy Beyerlein, the founder of Mid Atlantic Water Services, invested over a decade and a half with a leading water conditioning firm before launching his very own 1989. A company from Ohio reached out to him to distribute their range of water conditioning systems, and that marked the beginning of his journey. Mid Atlantic’s goal is to provide top-notch service to each of our customers combined with superior water treatment systems. This focus drives us to monitor emerging trends in water treatment technology and evaluate the systems firsthand prior to selling them to our customers.

Mid-Atlantic Water Services is a community-focused operation established in 1989 by Pam and Andy Beyerlein. Throughout the years, we have grown and demonstrated our ability to resolve any water-related issue in the area.

The WORST service I have ever had with a company! We ordered a filtration system February 25th. It was supposed to arrive within 2-4 weeks. I called every week after 4 weeks and got every excuse possible and lie after lie, they would change their answer every time I questioned something. They eventually stopped answering my calls, I blocked my number and they answered and sent a bogus email saying it was getting ready to ship, a week later still no tracking information. I called back and they said they didn't even know what step my order was in but was assured they would resolve it quickly. Another week went by and nothing so I decided to ask for a refund after waiting 3 months. I was told that my refund would be issued that day and would be in my account in 3-5 days. I didn't receive an auto email saying it had been done so i called 8+ times to get an answer and said they could only do it on the weekends as no one is in the store during the week. Saturday came and still nothing, called 5 times and no answer, after my 5th call i finally received the auto email, so it was obvious they were ignoring my call. Not to mention, I ordered from a different company the day that I asked for my refund and I received that system and had it installed before i was even issued my refund! horrible experience!

I'm waiting for warranty parts, months without a working water softener. I purchased a whole house water filter and water softener for our vacation home. The whole house filter works fine no problems, the water softener stopped working in December 2017, it is now April 13, 2018 and I still don't have a working water softener. They Mid Atlantic and Pentair are in no hurry to get working replacement parts to me for the softener to get it working. As of December when the softener stopped working there was only about four months of use on whole house filter and the water softener which were installed by a professional plumber. Be aware the warranty is not worth a darn if they don't stand behind it.

We used Mid-Atlantic to install our irrigation system two years ago and just yesterday they serviced our water treatment system. Got us back in service the same day I called. Awesome service! Jason and Dave are the best! Very knowledgeable and fair pricing. The key difference is Mid-Atlantic stock parts where other smaller water treatment company's do not.

We couldn't be happier with the Irrigation system they installed. They designed a system that works flawlessly on our well. We have 4 zones that use treated water. So no iron stains on our sidewalks around the pool. And the other 11 zones use untreated water where it doesn't matter. Works great!!

Shout out to Mid-Atlantic. Called them for a second opinion on our water treatment system after company #1 gave us sticker shock on replacing our treatment system and company #2 was a no-show and didn't return our calls. We had originally given company #1 a shot after they'd done a decent job on installing a new pressure tank for our well system. Mid-Atlantic sent someone out less than an hour after I called them. After checking our situation out, he agreed with the original assessment but quoted us a new system at 25% less than company #1. Mid-Atlantic came back the very next day and did all the work in a quiet, respectful and professional manner, then gave me a thorough overview of the system. They also highlighted some problems that company #1 should have noticed when they put in the pressure tank. They also checked their prices and pointed out that company #1 had over-charged us by hundreds of dollars on the water pressure tank. Needless to say I'm sticking with Mid-Atlantic moving forward. The technicians do excellent work. They are knowledgeable, but communication is poor.
I made an appointment to have a filter changed and salt delivered and was told that if I needed to leave the house, but left access open, the tech would go in and do the work. I waited for him all morning and part of the afternoon, but needed to run a quick errand, so I left the garage door open. The technician came while I was gone, but left since I didn't answer the door. I received no phone call either that he was on his way or had missed me, so I assumed the technician didn't come. I called a week or so later and was told he had come and left, so I made a new appointment. I was told ""tomorrow"" (Wednesday)on the phone, but the appointment was apparently made for Thursday. I stayed home Wednesday waiting for him to arrive. When I called Thursday, I was told, ""Your appointment is for today."" Another wasted day waiting.

Called in 4.2015 because of an issue. Gentleman who called back was argumentative and rude. They came out to replace a filter and gave me the impression it would be swapped out for free unless they found something wrong. NEVER told me in order to do that they had to destroy the filter and would bill me for it and labor. Still trying to resolve. Have monthly calls with a very nice woman named Marti and then apparently no one ever speak to each other - they just call and threaten me because I have not paid. Not to MAWS - your service is awful as is your internal and external communication skills.

The 5 star ratings are basically fake. The company took our money and did not deliver the product for months. And then delivered only half of the order and only after much haggling. We still have not received the other half of our order. They lied to us about shipments being made when they had not been made. Gave us fake UPS tracking codes. Basically, they generate UPS shipping labels with a tracking number from their home computer but this has no correlation with actually shipping the product. This is a dishonest company. I suspect that they are short on cash and use the customer's money to cover operating costs until the customer complains loud enough or threatens legal action or another dumb customer comes along to fund their operations. I do not recommend them.

Being new homeowners (and new to well water in general) we have a lot going on. I reached out to Mid Atlantic before settlement as a general inquiry and was impressed when Richard reached back out to me shortly before closing to schedule a time to go over things and get an estimate for a new system. Our install went smoothly, despite our space having to be completely reconfigured and Mid Atlantic also was able to provide a general plumber to update many of our fixtures and install new toilets the same day the water treatment system was being installed.

Our system has been working great for the past month, until yesterday we called as we noticed some issues with our water pressure. Mid Atlantic sent out two technicians later in the day (after answering my phone call with a live person at about 6:50 am) who determined that the problem was likely with our well or well pump rather than the system. Rather than do unnecessary tests I spoke with Andy (I believe the owner) who suggested we work with a well drilling/servicing company rather than waste money on inconclusive tests. I greatly appreciate his honesty and the professionalism of the company in general. I would be happy to recommend Mid Atlantic to anyone.
