Flat rate company! Will not tell you what a job really costs. They did replace some bad drain lines at my house and I am greatful as no one else wanted to do the work. They did however charge a very high amount (Over 15K). For what was needed I did authorize only one bathroom to be done. This was about 80% of the job that needed to be done. I thought I would have more time but when I called for an estimate for the second bathroom they quoted me nearly the same amount for the 20% that had not yet been completed.

I would keep looking.

I wish I could rate them a zero! Charged us to mis-identify a leak and not provide a quote for repair. Also damaged my home then wouldn't return phone calls.

I'll start with the good. We called and a plumber showed up within a half hour.

This was non-emergent; however we did want it fixed before the weekend. A leaky ball valve on the supply line to the water heater. We asked for a quote on the phone and we were told they don't do quotes. He said that they do not charge emergency fees anyway. They also would not tell me how much the actual valve cost. The plumber replaced the valve in less than an hour. The charge was $422.00. I looked up the part on line and it was about $25.00. So basically, with travel time, they charge about $300.00 an hour. Find someone else people!!!

I contacted Michigan Plumbing to check out a water leak at my elderly mother's place in South Lansing. I'm out of state and I've had some challenges with other repairs in the past, coordinating the visits and arranging for payment. These folks were super helpful and timely. Highly recommend.

We have an old house and have had drain problems for year. Troy from Mich Plumb came out, wore a mask (important as we are both old) and was very friendly. Mostly talked to my husband. Kept us advised as he went along. This is going to need that, etc. My husband who has dealt with our drains until recently said he was honest. All drains are running freely now, all the way to the main drain line. Very satisfied with work and price.

Friendly and professional but outrageous fees for service 15 minute job cost over $250 and was told $500 more to convert a drain that simply needed a new spring loaded cap assembly for $16 .... misleading advice for repair and no discounting for easier than expected repairs

Bait and switch. Was quoted One Price once ground broke was told they would not continue. I then had to pay for more expensive system on the spot. With no explanation.

My bathroom faucet was leaking. Charge to repair was $300. It still leaked and I had to replace it. I bought the faucet on line and was charged another $280 to install it. I felt ripped off.

Don't take time off from work waiting on them. I had a window of 10 to 12 to get an estimate for some plumbing work and even after calling the same morning to confirm that I was still scheduled for 10 to 12 they never showed up and I waited until 130. They didn't even bother calling me to tell me they wouldn't be there.
