Of course my water line broke at 5:10 PM on Friday; water running out of the water meter box, down the street. I called the Grants Pass water department, who came out and diagnosed the problem as a broken water line due to roots. We let the water run over the weekend. By Saturday afternoon the leak & the gushing had doubled in the amount running, so again I called Grants Pass water and had them turn it off, after filling my tubs. I called all around on Saturday and left messages; no one was available. Monday morning I got an estimate from a local repair service, for digging up the street and replacing the cement and repairing the line -- $2350. I got a few other calls back, and some were too busy and some couldnt do the work. JD with Michaels came out by mid Monday morning, estimated $900-1400 maybe...lo and behold was finished within two hours and the price was even less than than his guesstimate, about 1/4 what the first repair company estimated. I now have water!! And Ill have to get rid of some bushes and trees planted right over the water line. JD was efficient, honest, upbeat and pleasant and did a great job. I am SO grateful!

Highly recommend! Fast response time, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Had to replace a water heater and JD got it done in 24 hrs from initial call. Very impressed with the professional and courteous service.

Has a toilet leak. Normally it's something I would do myself, taking a long time to accomplish, but it's easy and cheap. I lacked the time.

Called a few places that were booked our for a while. Michael's has rapid availability so I went with them.

Amazing work. Quick, clean, and the plumber (I'm sorry, I don't know if your name was Michael or something else) was very nice and professional.

No complaints. Will be must first call next time!

Terrible business. The guy no call no showed two days in a row. Unprofessional and rude of him. I would not recommend this business unless you want to waste your time.

We had the main line to our guest house break and needed service right away. Mike came out the next day and repiped, the whole job only took about 4 hrs. Very fast and the cost was very reasonable! Mike has been out to our place before for other repairs and I feel very lucky to have found a good contractor here in Grants Pass.

Michael's Plumbing to the rescue again. We accidentally dropped small metal spike in our garbage disposal, and didn't discover it until we turned it on and it wedged its self inside. He came by the same day, fixed it quickly and cleaned up like it was his house. We have used Michael's for many years and he's always gone out of his way to take care of our plumbing issues quickly and always at a price we are happy with. We would recommend him to anyone.

They did a good job but the price they charged was outrageous. They were here less than an hour, they fixed a pin hole in the copper pipe under the house by cut the pipe at the leak and put a compression fitting in and chalked around the over flow in the bath tub. That cost us almost $300. I have to admit I failed to ask the cost of them coming out, so I will take that on myself but I'll never use them again. I'll find a reasonably price plumber next time.

Sad to say I wouldn't use this company and it really takes a lot for me to give a flat out say NO.
This company was assigned to us by our homeowner warranty company. This company came out and the man stood at my bathroom doorway as I explained the problem. Said call him, took my $60 check filed a claim got paid I still have the problem hahaha so that's how it works on a Friday afternoon ??it was more of an integrity issue I have about how this went down than anything. Not it probably won't be covered(not to shocking), here is a quote to fix it yada yada but more like that will be $60.00 easy bucks and he's gone.

I recently tried some DIY plumbing on my shower and immediately got in trouble. I called several plumbers who told me that to fix my broken mixer valve, they would have to cut open the wall....and it would be several days before they could even get here. Michael was able to make it over within a few hours to repair my mistake and was able to do it with the existing access - no opening walls necessary. His work was excellent and fast. I have to be honest, though, in saying the cost was quite high. I guess my mistake was his gain and I definitely paid for it. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because his clean up was not great. There was still dirt and debris left on the shower floor that I had to take care of. Kind of wish I was a plumber right about now.

Mike has been working with me on a project of installing new sinks in my kitchen and bathrooms after I got new granite. A small job I'm sure for him but an important one for me.
There were a couple of adjustments that needed to be made and Mike was always very pleasant, friendly, professional and accommodating about coming to help me.
One night I had an issue that was related to the new kitchen sink and water started pouring out on the floor. It was 7pm and I texted Mike hoping that he would get back to me in the am. Mike answered my text that night and swung by on his way home and did a simple adjustment and wa la! All fixed up. Mike was in and out in 5 minutes and my life returned to normal.
I can't recommend Mike highly enough and he will be ""my plumber""!
