The technician was friendly and courteous. However, I was told the $69 ""diagnosis"" fee would be deducted from the final price if I went ahead with the service, and as far as I can see from the invoice it wasn't. And, worse than that, the problem isn't fixed. The tech fixed the worn out hot water stem but there's also a leak from the cold water side. So it seems he didn't even look at that side.

Not hiring them again.

I've used Michael & Sons for a few years now. I got the annual service plan with them for the HVAC, plumbing and electrical inspections. I'm giving them only 4-stars because despite a couple of inspections they missed a huge issue with the expansion tank on my water heater. It cracked and burst as a result leading to last minute high repair costs as I was preparing for an influx of guests. As a result I haven't renewed the service plan, but I have considered them for some projects.

Missed an entire 6 hour window, came to my home over 2 hours late, lied on the invoice stating it was a cancellation or no show. I literally have him on camera coming into my home. He didn't want to do the work, came in my home with no equipment, no bags. No anything. Tech stated they don't work on the unit if they didn't install it--when in fact they DID, back in 2020. VERY lazy and extremely DISGUSTING customer service from supervisors who called , one was AJ & I don't remember the other one but neither wanted to take responsibility for their employee and correctly the issue. Still sent another tech out and made me pay for it

Plumber K. Winslow did a great job fixing the toilet tank running water issue. He was very thorough inspecting the toilet's mechanics and detailed in his explanation of the problem as well as the solution. I recommend him to provide plumbing services to anyone in need.
