We have used them to install two of nits over the past 4 years. We have had issues with BOTH units. Every time we schedule an appointment, they cancel at the end of the window, claiming they have no technician available. The last technician told me that home warranty customers, and customers with warranties are not scheduled as a priority. Horrible customer service and units that are new! Would not recommend them!

We had a leak in our home due to our AC Unit. And I submitted an online request to Michael & Son and everyone was so nice. From the lady who took my info and made my appointment to the technician Matt everyone was so helpful and kind.

Matt was able to come out the same day and he was very respectful and courteous. He looked at my unit and told me exactly what I needed and was clear with me about cost and options. And really educated me on the situation. He worked very hard to make sure the problem got solved. I am so happy with my experience I will refer everyone I know to Michael & Son! Never using another AC company!

Over charged and gouged by this company. Charged me almost $400. for $2.00 worth of material and 20 minutes worth of work. I would never call them for anything. What they fixed I could have done it myself. They should be ashamed for what they did to a senior citizen.

This is the second time I used Michael and son for preventative service cleaning on my heat pump. The first time Five stars , This time (different service tech) One star. Will never use again. The tech lied and said he cleaned the coils on my outdoor unit.My outside spigots were never turned on for the season. The only thing he did do was install a media filter that I had purchased on Amazon. He tried to sell me an automatic shutoff for the drain pan up in the attic. I got one already. I watched him while he was in the attic. He basically just stared at the unit. I did not how ever go with him to the outdoor unit. He told me my drain line had a clog in it. Go figure!!! He used a shop vac and cleared the supposed clog. Funny drain pan in attic was bone dry. I will never ever use these people again. I feel like I was cheated out of my hard earned money.

I was charged $69 for a quote, not a diagnosis a QUOTE!! (READ THIS) While walking by my utility closet my foot got wet. After investing on my knees with a flash light I discovered it was from my water heater. I called Michael & Son for pricing but they refused to give it over the phone. The service guy arrived as promised and I explained that the heater is leaking and needs to be replaced. He didn't bother to kneel down to investigate but went into sales mode.

After trying to sell me on extended warranties the first price was $2200. An average water heat cost $409 -$900 so I experienced what's known as sticker shock. Given that I paid $5300 for an entire HVAC unit from them in 2015 I never imagined the starting price would be so expensive. I told the service guy that I wouldn't be interested in paying such a mark up on the unit install. After giving him an ear full...no profanity...I paid the $69 ""service fee"" and asked him to leave.

So let's recap...my water heater is old, it started to leak, and I wanted it replaced and was charged $69 for a price gouging quote. If you can't get a price via email or over the phone pass and save $69.

This review is provided to Andrew G not the company Michael and Son. The first impression Andrew gave me was friendly and professional. He came in gave his expert opinion(which I already knew lol) and then proceeded to the ""fun part"". I was devastated to hear my single shower diverter was gonna cost me $350 to replace. After calling customer service and receiving nothing but insults from the representative I broke down literally. I was stuck between paying $69 for a diagnostic that I already knew and a $350 10 minute job. Long story short, Andrew was my hero and came through wearing his Superman cape lol. He calmed me down and assured me he would do all he could to satisfy me. Even though I still overpaid a lil bit for the job, it was worth it because Andrew was awesome. He even showed me where my shut off valve was that I couldn't find for the life of me. My daughter and I are back with water and she has her working shower back. Thanks Drew and keep up your great customer service and positive attitude because it really makes the difference.

Over $800 to replace two valves to a washing machine, a small 1'X1' plastic basin and about 6"" of PVC, two rubber gaskets and clamps. After pricing the parts and materials they used (including tools), it would have cost less than $100. They do solid work, but $700 for two hours of work? No one is worth $350 an hour for plumbing. Competitors are cheaper.

I recently had a technician come out to change out a filter. The technician was professional and provided great service. However, I was charged a diagnostic fee when I should not have been because nothing was diagnosed. I was told I would receive a refund for this fee. Two months later and I still have not received a refund. I have contacted Michael and Son several times and have been told every time that the refund is being processed. Yet I have received nothing. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism on the part of this company. Karen H.
