The techs from Michael & Son Service are fine, as is the Gold Service Plan. They are good at scheduling regular checkups to get back into your home to try to sell services. Everything you ask about is $300-400. Everything they suggest is $300-800. I was charged $164 to replace 4 screws on my circuit box. $300 for a TP pipe on my hot water heater and a surge protector. $300 was quoted to clear the sinks in the house of hair, etc., even though they were here doing a plumbing inspection where they ran a bit of water from the bathroom/kitchen faucets, flushed the toilets, and checked the hit water tank. Nothing more... about 15 minutes and out. Not seeing value in this service. The HVAC inspection at least changes the filters for free. I guess it's better to be upcharged by someone you know.

Sean Long came to my house today to do a routine HVAC inspection. He was great. Took his time to inspect inside and outside units and gave me great feedback. I appreciated his input and suggestions. while he was here he changes a filter for me and installed UV lights that were a little overdue ..!! Good communicator and very respectful. I would be very happy for him to return at anytime.

Had them come do some minor plumbing work within my house. Despite issues with their initial lack of communication (including providing no notice the plumber wasn't going to make my initial appt time), had good quality of service and very good customer service from the manager Thomas.

I moved to a different home. I had no knowledge of when or if the hot water heater had ever been flushed. I explained that to the woman who answered the phone. She said it was necessary. The service man came to my home, refused to flush my hot water heater because I did not know the date it had been flushed in the past. He still charged me the $69 fee. Don't use this company. No integrity. Greedy. No way to provide info that is communicated to service people before an appt. They demand and take your money even if no service is provided due to their lack of effective communication internally. Very very poor business practices!!!!!

Caled Hoffman did a great job. Came in checked the system. Made a recommendation. Which i had him take care of while he was here. Would recommend Michael and Sons and Hoffman.
