I had a terrible experience with this company especially Michael who was rude. I would use other words to describe him but this is a public forum. Lousy work, rude behavior, he lied to tenants in the building he was working on and told them things were finished when they weren't

Fantastic for inspections!

We're deep in the inspection process for buying our new home and Bear from Michael Shute Plumbing came out to check our sewer line. He was professional, on time, and verbally walked us through results in a way which wasn't overwhelming- which says a lot as we had four other inspections running at the same time! The videos and report were sent to our inbox promptly thereafter. Thanks, Bear!

If you are in need of a plumber, Michael is your man! He was referred by a friend who has his sewer line rupture. I had a galvanized pipe rupture. :/ Michael came out and did an emergency patch job to get me through until I could do a complete repair. He even walked the perimeter of my home with me and explained where the failure was and what was advisable for me to do to protect my home. (This level of detail and care is extremely appreciated.) Not only did he send a crew out within days Of the patch, to replace all my old pipes, they fixed other concerns around the property... both those I noticed inside the house and plumbing deficiencies for exterior pipes. The prices are very fair and the work is superior. Thanks to Michael, I know I won't need more work in the foreseeable future, but if I ever did, I'd be a repeat client.

I was at Home Depot asking plumbers for help and being turned down. I asked Michael to follow me to a house and use his sawzall on a bed I was buying. We had been working on for hours already. He was so kind and went out of his way to follow me and save the day for me. People don't go out of their way for strangers anymore but he did it for me. I am so Greatful. Thanks again!

We had a great experience with this company recently. My sewer line had failed in one area and needed to be fixed. He said he would be there the next day between 11 - 12 and that's when he arrived. They performed the work can invoiced me the price quoted. He is now our plumber!! I love working with companies that do what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it. I highly recommend.

This company is truly ""ELITE"". Saying Mike and his company is ""Super professional"" is not good enough. We had a major plumbing issue where our water wouldn't go down in the evening. He came within a few hours and fixed the problem so that we could get by. He also put a camera down there to find the problem out exactly. He gave us our options on how to fix it properly so there would be no more issues.

After his recommendations we changed the main pipe. But to change the pipe is HUGE job where they had to break the concrete and stone in the back yard. Well he changed the pipe, BUT to put all the concrete back and stone was amazing. You couldn't even tell that someone even worked there. That's amazing!

These guys are truly the best and I will never use anybody else. Mike is truly honest, hard working, fair priced, professional, and the best at what he does. Not only do I highly recommend them, I will not use anyone else.

After being given a very incorrect quote by our sewer inspector for our new house, I reached out to Michael Shute for the actual repair. I spoke at length with Kimberly who broke the bad news that the quote was grossly under the cost of the actual price, and after calling a few other companies to verify that the inspector had in fact given us a quote that was about $1000 under the actual cost, Kimberly and the crew at Michael Shute were kind enough to give us a fair price that met in the middle, even though they had no obligation to do so. When it came time to arrange the work, Kimberly kept me up to date with the progress and was able to set something up even though I was out of town. When the day to do the work came, Kimberly promptly notified us that the sewage inspector was again incorrect with how much work had to be done, and when their worker actually went out and saw how much had to be done he stopped contacted us and waited patiently while my husband and I scrambled to fix the situation. Keep in mind I was on the other side of the country and my husband was at work, and everyone at Michael Shute waited for us to weigh all our options. In total the work should have cost a few thousand dollars, but the AMAZING team at Michael Shute realized that we had really gotten a bad quote from the original inspector and had relied on this. They called us up, let us know that charging us what the job would really cost was unfair to us and they would be happy to do the work at a fraction of the cost. My husband and I were astounded at their generosity and fair business dealings, which are extremely hard to come by in this day and age. Michael Shute did an INCREDIBLE job, and I can't recommend them enough. Not just for the great work they did at our new home, but for their kindness, their understanding, their patience with us, and for keeping us updated every step of the way. A great big thank you to Kimberly, who was so patient and kind and realized what a pickle our sewage inspector put us in, and graciously remedied another company's mistake for a fair price. That was something they didn't have to do, but Michael Shute went above and beyond in their service. Cannot recommend this company enough!!!!!!

I was contacted by Michael Shute's assistant/employee the night before our scheduled annual maintenance. I was told our pre-scheduled appointment would be cancelled because another client had a plumbing emergency that may cause damage to expensive vehicles and property.
I had this appointment already scheduled and altered my day, schedule, and plans which now caused me a loss.
A couple of days later, the assistant called me back to reschedule. I kindly and politely asked if there was a possibility to get a discount on the service because of their cancellation and loss at my end. She immediately got upset at me, said ours was just maintenance not expensive cars involved, said I could take my business elsewhere, and then hung up on me.

i've used michael for jobs ranging from hundreds (new clean out for sewer) to thousands (a kitchen and bath remodel) over the years. he shows up himself, which i prefer, and gets the job done. he's professional and dependable. he returns calls, communicates well throughout the job, and definitely knows what he's doing. i've always found him to be very transparent and straight-forward.
