Very expensive. Didn't give me an estimate and I didn't think anything of it because he was a longtime friend of a member of my family. Took the complete toilet apart and charged me a very large amount. I could have put in a complete new toilet for one quarter of what he charged me. Would not recommend.

I knew when Mr. Sargeant answered the phone, that he was not professional. I had to ask whether I had reached Sargeant Plumbing and Heating. Nonetheless, I arranged for him to come out to look at a leaking drain pipe from the 2nd floor bathroom. He came, looked at the job, and then asked me to turn on the 2nd floor water so he could see the leak. I did, then turned off the water, and returned to the 1st floor. I was stunned when the plumber started pulling down the suspended/drop ceiling with his hand. I asked him to just let it go and come off of the ladder. But, he did not. After he descended the ladder, he said his stomach was bothering him and that he had to go home, but would return later. He did not, and no phone call either. After making a mess, he left with not as much as giving an estimate. Two other plumbers had previously given me an estimate without pulling down the drop ceiling. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. Homeowner beware. Good news is I hired a reputable company that completed the job.
