Dave was great and went through all my options to replace the heating system. We spoke several times by phone to review my options. Dave took his time and explained the differences in the systems to me. Service was fast and quick. The service men were courteous and kept me informed of the progress. Dave called me after to check in. Dave managed to save me some money also. Losing heating is a big deal but they've made the whole process a lot easier! I would highly recommend this company.
Sandra W.I have used Michael Russo plumbing on several occasions for my home as well as properties I manage. They are excellent! Prompt, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this plumbing service.
After dealing with a burst pipe and it's consequences from the arctic blast a couple of weeks ago, Anthony was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the heating system and perform enough repairs to make it operational until the pipe can be fixed.
Anthony was pleasant and very knowledgeable and I was also happy to see that he could do repairs on an older heating system.
I highly recommend this plumbing contractor. You will not be leaving a message on an answering machine never to be called back. They are very responsive to customers.
Many Thanks!
Josephine
Aileen D.Charged $940 to hook up a dishwasher and attach an ice maker. Feel the price was very high. They came to our home twice, included in the charge was a transportation fee of $125 per visit that was not disclosed prior to scheduling. We were taken advantage of and I warn others. If the appliance dealer suggests a plumber go with who they recommend, we did not do that and regret our decision.
Responded faster than anyone (of the numerous) plumbers I called in an emergency to check the gas lines in my house.
Anthony was highly knowledgeable, professional and quick yet thorough in his work.
Kathy in the office efficient and accommodating too.
Overall a good experience in all aspects with this business,
Even had pulled the permits online before they got here, so ready to work as soon as they got here.
That's what you want with ANY plumbing service, but especially for gas leaks!
David S.Lifesaver! Our older Lochinvar boiler was intermittently failing. Would run fine for days then keep needing to be reset. Contacted a bigger plumbing contractor (begins w/ ""Cr"") a few weeks ago because we were desperate to find anyone to come who we hadn't dealt with in the past. They came and did a service on the boiler, which of course was running fine at that time, but then proceeded to go off again 2 days later. They did come back, but at that time it was running fine again (at least they didn't charge us for that visit). So the week before this record cold it really starts cutting out, so I called Lochinvar and their service branch gave me a few local names. By chance I called Russo first and they said they could be here the day after. Woke up to house @ 52 degrees that morning.
Anthony showed up and assured me he would get it fixed, and proceeded to go through with me all the possible issues before replacing the fan unit that was most likely culprit. Couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable technician. Our only regret was that we hadn't found them earlier. What an immense relief to not have to worry about losing heat on the coldest day of the year!
I had a very bad experience today with Dave Russo. My mother's shower was gushing out hot water which could not be turned off. It was 11:30 p.m. The Russo plumber arrived at 1 a.m. and spent the next two hours doing work that turned out to have nothing to do with the shower. This was due to poor communication between him and the building superintendent, who was also present. At about 3 a.m. the plumber asked me to sign a paper. I felt he was very kind to not take a payment. But today Dave announced that my signature signified that I was satisfied with the work. There was nothing to that effect on the paper I signed, unless there was some fine print which I did not see. This reminds me of a car I once bought from a shady dealer. It was a lemon, and when I brought them to court, they trotted out a small piece of paper I'd signed, saying ""As Is."" I recall there was a pile of papers I had to sign, and this one was buried in there. This is how dishonest businesses operate - they trick you into signing papers so they can ""take you to court,"" as Dave threatened to do to me today. I never want to have anything to do with this dishonest bully.
I have never felt so disrespected and unsafe in my own home. The plumber nearly pounded down my door scaring me and my child when he came. I had no idea he was coming, my ex husband called and only told me 5 mins before he came. Then he proceeds to give me attitude when he comes in I had no idea what he was going to check or what he was going to look at he doesn't tell me either. Then he takes the lid off the tank of the toilet and half flushes the toilet and says the toilet is running. I said well its running because you just half flushed it and the tank didn't finish filling up. So then I fully flush it wait till it fills up no sound. The guy got all mad because I said I don't hear any sound. What did this guy think I was dumb. I'm sitting there in disbelief that this guy is trying to tell me about some nonexistant sound. I tried calling the owner to complain, about the workers demeanor, the owner explains he was told to pound on the door cause the doorbell is broken. The doorbell is not broken. The way this guy was pounding on the door most people would not have opened the door and would have called the police. Sounded like he was going to knock the door down. The employees are a reflection of their owner, the owner condones this behavior. I explained what had happened and the owner stated I state behind my employees, the whole thing left me speechless. Judging from some of the reviews I would avoid this business at all cost. The place has got to be trash when they have their own family members writing reviews.
If i could give -10 stars I would! The new ownership is not worthy of Michael's name. They showed up and charged $388 (COD) to replace a part that was not even the problem. Then when I called and spoke with David Russo, the new owner, he would not stand behind his work and said his guy did replace a part and that it might be an electrical concern. WOW, funny thing is, I said that initially. Turns out, after hiring another plumbing contractor, they replaced a relay and that cured the problem. I would find another plumbing contractor!!!
I had the hot water heater replaced, and the boiler serviced. Tom, the plumber, showed up on time and was very professional. It could not have gone any better. I highly recommend this company.
